My grandson is 6 yrs old and now is into SNAKES. I wanted to find the most real looking creatures (knowing he would expect nothing less). I searched far and wide and decided to purchase these. I was so impressed when I opened the pkg and saw these snakes all curled up. They are fantastic....the look, the feel and the weight. My concern was they would be stiff and would stuck in their curled up position (which was NOT what I wanted) but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they are soft enough that you can stretch them out (so he can hang them around his neck) and they will still go back to the curled up position. My 35 yr old son was sitting on my back patio when the pkg arrived. I took one of the snakes outside to show it to him and he jumped right out of his chair. That was a good enough test for me!

These surprised me at how realistic they looked (and felt- ugh) and the quality of them. I bought them to place on my motorhome to scare off birds and squirrels. I put two on the roof and my goodness you cannot tell they are fake up there! I put another close to the rear tires and one close to the front tires. I love having 4 of them to use. So far I haven't seen a squirrel close to the underside of the motorhome where before they ran all under it. Haven't noticed any birds landing on it either so I am pretty sure it is working.

We got these for the fruit trees to hopefully keep the birds away (spring's coming- we'll see how well they work!). They're a nice large size and flexible enough that they wrap around the trees well.Really like the copper color one and the black one is pretty good for realism. The yellow and green don't look too realistic but if they keep the birds away who cares (will update when we start getting fruit and the birds come in). It'd be nice if you could the 4 pack of one color, but I'm fairly sure these will still do the trick.

Great little snakes! I am using them around my pool to help keep the birds away and I think it's really working to scare the pigeons away. I do occasionally see a black bird land nearby, but I don't have nearly as much bird poop on my pool decking as when I first moved in! I think it's definitely worth a shot if you're looking to scare away pool pests.

The realism is close only if viewed from from a superior dorsal perspective. The product cannot be considered anatomically accurate and suffers from incomplete molding. Each snake will lay flat anywhere and that could be a drawback for someone looking for absolute realism. This design should not be considered a flaw. It is purposeful and should not be considered a fault with production. This particular imperfection is not visible in the photo. The colors are good as well as the flexibility. However the toy will always retain it's original shape unless stretched and forcibly secured at the head and tail or at some point along the body. Overall a good product for the price and durability.

I wanted these originally for Halloween, after opening them, surprised that they were so realistic looking.Light bulb idea, my mom has had an issues with a squirrel eating her fruit trees, and I took two to wrap around the gate to scare it off. Works so far, freaked out my mom. They are definitely life like.Yay! The length is amazing too, long and soft but firm.The other two I'm using for my previous Halloween.A plus. A plus indeed.
