The sink is beautiful and I needed this model because the depth works for my kitchen (older cabinet would not accommodate anything deeper than 6 inches without major plumbing work being done). I give it only 4 stars because it arrived without a cut-out template and getting one shipped to me is proving to be difficult. I called Mr Direct directly (no pun intended) and they did point me to their site that has a downloadable template, but you have to have a CAD program to use it. I've passed this all to my granite fabricator, but not having a template shipped with the sink may have impacted my granite installation date. Mr Direct answered my question on Amazon, with "reach out through Amazon" and we'll send you a template. A review was the only way I could find to "reach out thru Amazon". :)

I'm relatively tall, 5'8" and had a 9" deep sink that was undermount. Once you add on the extra inch from the depth of the countertop... you are now reaching 10" to reach the bottom of your sink, which for me, I was oddly hunched over. This sink is only 5.75 deep (plus the inch of the countertop) so I was only reaching down 6.75" to bottom of sink. Way easier and way better on my back. I've even had compliments on what a nice sink it is! I would highly recommend if you are tall and don't mind a shallow sink. It's perfect.
