High Accuracy Piano Mechanical Metronome for Violinist Ukulele Player, Transparent White

I really like this metronome because it's so cool that you can see all the inner workings. However... the beat is not quite balanced. I think the pendulum is not welded exactly in the center, or maybe a little spot of the welding metal got left on there. I noticed it right off the bat, but it's so slight that I doubted myself and did not return it. But the more I listen to it, the more I notice that little limp in the beat and now I'm sorry I didn't ask for a replacement. :-(

This was a gift for a friend who is a pianist. She loved it!

The media could not be loaded.  I love the acoustic sound and how the clearness makes it blend in to the environment more and less of an eye sore. It looks elegant and is loud enough for me to feel the beat more than a digital metronome or an app.

I purchased this to improve my chord switching. I want to become a smoother, faster, more accurate ukulele player. The best way to do this is with a metronome. Each swing produces a nice loud sound letting you hear it over your playing. The metronome doesn't lie! Beginning with 40 bpm it can increase in 2 beat increments. If you aren't playing to the beat, you'll know it!! The see-through cover is easy off and on. Mine is transparent and is neat to watch in action. No cons here on the device. However, no actual English directions come with it. No explanation of the set pitch lever. No direction of how to shut off little bell if you should want to. No directions on when or how to oil. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. If my playing doesn't improve- it won't be the metronome's fault!

It is bigger than my old one from 1990. Good sound, much more fun to play with "tock tock" than a beeping device or click track. I also enjoy having a moving pendulum and physical control interface.

This thing is pretty much exactly what I wanted - a simple to use clockwork wind-up metronome. It has a rhythm selection lever so you can get a bell every few beats. The main thing which isn't exactly what I was hoping for is that it is very loud. I think there is no proper way to adjust the volume but putting it on something soft may muffle it slightly.
