Q: Is there a version without the stand? Can I cut it off without ruining the charging functions?

The stand stores flat. It provides a tiny bit of grip in my opinion. If you cut it off it’s all smooth plastic then. More likely to slip. Hope that helps

"No it won't" response from AnkerDirect Seller is complete BS; don't be fooled folks. You cannot turn the charging feature OFF so it does indeed hurt the battery. Leaving your phone plugged into the wall hurts the battery. Always charging your battery to full and not giving it cycles of depletion also hurt the battery... Just do some research on your own and read up on battery life on smart phones. You basically can't safely use this as a STAND because it wont stop charging.

Only the USB C cable. There are currently no battery packs (MagSafe or otherwise) that can charge a device wirelessly AND recharge itself from another wireless charger. Probably because of all the heat and how long it would take.

Yes, this battery can wireless charge iPhone 12/13 series phones while recharging the battery itself.
