I purchased this mirror for myself approximately 9 months ago. At that time, I would have given this 5 stars. I recently purchased two more to give as gifts. The description says that is stainless steel. My intention was to etch monograms on each of these. Definitely not stainless. Where the product was etched, it rusted. Still like the mirror, though.

Some sort of lightweight alloy. Scratches like nuts but suits my needs perfectly nonetheless. The mirrors are great, it's slim and fits nicely in my little bag. I'm happy. Didn't come with a bag like in the photo to prevent scratching. Maybe that'd make a difference. Hinge is sturdy, the clasp is holding up.

I bought this little mirror for camping and backpacking. It is perfect! Well made, small, but not too small to be functional and with both 1x and 2x magnification. It comes with a little drawstring cloth case. Having gotten debris in my eyes while traveling, I recommend a little mirror like this as a good addition to a first aid kit.

I love this compact mirror. Fits perfect in my little purses and backpacks.
