Amazing Grow Light For The Price
I needed a grow light for my papaya so I decided to give this light a shot and it exceeded my expectations! This light is great for indoors or in a grow tent. Very quiet and does not generate a lot of heat. Super easy to set up and the quality seems to be as good, if not better, compared to more expensive lights. I read a lot of the reviews and they seemed to indicate that the light is well built and lasts long so I figured it was worth spending the money on. I’d recommend giving it a try if you have a few smaller plants or one big plant that is sun hungry.

Grow light
Lamp is of good quality, very bright like natural sun! Unfortunately mine made some noise from the fan, but customer service representative responded to my concern right away! Very professional service. My plants grew faster with this lamp. Set up was easy and lightweight enough to hang from ceiling with a plant hook!

So far so good.
First impressions are everything. I got a package and first thing I pulled out were the glasses and they're smashed to bits. I sure hope this isn't a representation of how the end product will hold up. I'll update this once I can try it out, but as of now I'm not impressed with receiving broken/ damaged goods. I mean who knows how the light has been handled. Update: it's been about 4 months now and I've used the light for 3. I started a new project in April and now we are in the stage that is very vital to the grow cycle. The flowering spectrum lights are starting to stop one row at a time, so far 2 rows have gone out. I have contacted the seller regarding the warranty that is claimed to be on this light. I will update on how this process goes. Unfortunately, I'm unimpressed so far. The light doesn't come with instructions on optimal distance, setup, and cleaning process, etc. Though it shouldn't go without saying, do your research, the light is easy to use but still, dismantling and cleaning instructions would be nice. The fans keep the light cool and it isn't hot or very loud. The plants have responded great to the light once the correct distance was found and both plant stages have been very healthy in their growing process. The lifespan of the light seems to be the only problem that I'm seeing so far. Might be worth looking into another light if I can't get one full grow cycle out of this brand new light. For the cost vs. the product, it seems that I could spend less and get better elsewhere. Update to the update: I got in contact with the customer service representative from Bestva and they were quick to accommodate. After verification of my purchase and order of the grow light, they asked to see the issue. Once I sent the pictures to them they were quick to send out a new light. They honored their warranty quickly and the new light is working great. This new light also had instructions and a good set of glasses. Overall, I got a good yield from my first round with the light. The colors are cool and the light isn't very hot or loud. I like them and will probably use them until I need something bigger or they burn out. But they are great with custom service, so that's a plus.

AWESOME LIGHTS!!!! Will be buying more
So I am worried because this is a 2k watt light for cheap with IR and UV. While I dont know the light measurements since my light meter broke. I ordered 4 of these to replace 2 HPS 1000 Watt lights, so on paper I went from 2k Watt to 8k Watts. It is still early to tell if I am saving on energy but I am pretty sure I will. On a daily graph of energy I use to use 84 KWH per day with lights on 18/6 I now I am only using 41 KWH's. So for the last 2 days I have used 41.2 KWH and 42.8 KWH. So already I see a HUGE different in amount of energy used. Now onto the lights. I wish I had my tool to measure the light levels on this. on that side I can't help, but I will say the plants have EXPLODED!!!! I grow indoors and in a 12x14 room. No CO2 burner nor CO2 bags, but CO2 in the room runs from 650 to 700ppm which is more than enough for my medicine. So I have noticed that yes it does not penetrate like HPS does, BUT if you grow your harvest correctly, If you are a Fimmer or Topper and use Super cropping correctly, this light will do wonders. So I am a big person on writing down levels of temp, co2, ppm of nutes, and even measuring the plants. Yes I am that detailed lol, yes I have OCD. So during the time since seed, my plants grew 54.3 inches in 2 months, over the last week they have only grew 2.1 inches up. After hanging the lights they have already grew 1.4 inches in 2 1/2 days. I dont know if its because of the UV and IR, since my old 1000 watt hps hoods were double ended and had glass which cut the UV and IR out. The heat from these devices is VERY minimal, I have a small 12000 BTU AC and room is set at 75 degrees at all time, and its only on 4, the heat difference is HUGE compared from HPS to LED. I use to pipe my HPS with a CFM fan out the ceiling, I took it all down and put these in and the room holds CO2 way better since the fan isn't taking it out of the room, and way easier to control temp So far I am very very pleased with these lights, yes they are cheap, I am unsure on how they are so cheap, but I have had NOTHING but good results with these lights. I have switched to 12/12 now and will give more update on advancement of the plants and power consumption. So far I love this product and will be buying more. I want 8 of these in a 10x10 tent with a co2 burner. But so far these were worth every penny!!!! Also make sure to buy glasses, these are SUPER bright and hurt your eyes without glasses haha. I forgot to grab them, went in and started working and my eyes were like a strobe light when I left the room.

Love this switchable led light so far
Only been using for a couple days so can’t rate durability or quality yet. Seems pretty decent though, we will have to see how the led perform with the plants over the next couple months. I had to get an extra carabiner and rope ratchet to be able to control the angle of the light way I want to. So I guess it would have been nice if it came with that or had a better design on the hanging system. Now I wanted a cheap light just to veg my outdoor plants. This was the 3rd most powerful led grow light under $60, but the higher rated ones had a spectrum only designed for flowering/blooming. This has both and although the veg setting doesn’t seem super powerful, it’s covering all 6 of the 5 gallon pots I’m vegging in about 2.25’ above. It produces no heat on the veg setting and a tiny amount on full power. Even in a grow tent this thing would need very minimal ventilation/cooling. I’ve been growing almost two decades and my t8 just died. I havnt done indoors in 7/8 years maybe, so I hadn’t gotten into the leds much back then. Was just running 300 watts supplemental w my hps1000s. Those were a different type of led, louder and produced a lot of heat nvm $$. These seem a lot better. I could picture running 2 of these in a small 3x3 tent w a small 4in fan set up for cooling an a temp controller. Anyone reading these reviews, bc I looked at plenty before this purchase, out of the box it gets 4.5 stars. If was slightly stronger power wise or came w better hanging system it would get the 5. But happy overall with the purchase and definitely recommend especially at the price.

The claims are just wrong, but I'd buy it again anyway.
I don't usually write reviews, but since there are just so many questions, and so much uncertainty, in the world of LED grow lights, I felt it was worth taking a moment to jot down a few notes. Let me preface it by saying that I do like the product. It seems well built and bright and I don't have any regrets. I actually may buy a few more. That said, I want to talk about the whole crazy concept of wattage, equivalent wattage, and coverage area. This light is billed as being "2000 Watts." What does that really mean? Well, if you asked the company…any LED company, they would say that it means that this light delivers the equivalent lumens of 2000 Watts of HPS or MH lamp. In reality, it's nowhere even remotely close to that. I happen to have a light meter, so I'm not speaking from conjecture, but from actual data. In my 4 x 8 grow room, I have on the left side, an existing 1000W MH lamp, in a Big Kahuna hood. It's currently set up 36 inches from the floor. On the right side, I have my new Bestiva "2000W" light. The plants were outside enjoying some natural sunlight today, and it was just so easy to pop my light meter in and take some measurements. With the light meter on the floor, directly underneath each light, the Bestiva "2000W light" delivered about 20% less light than the 1000W MH lamp. So obviously anyone can call anything what they want, but that's the actual data, in a side to side comparison. Now, others have asked about coverage area, and again, that's always a matter of opinion. I mean if you put it high enough, this lamp will light a 20 x 20 room. It won't light it enough to grow anything, but yes, it will light that space. In terms of real coverage area, the question was raised as to whether it will provide enough light to grow in a 4 x 8 area. The answer is that if the standard you are looking for is that of two 300 - 500W hoods, then yes. That said, I don't believe that's what people actually think they're getting. Because of the 2000W claim, people think they can replace two 1000W hoods, with this one "2000W" LED, and it will provide the same light and cover an entire 4 x 8 space. It just won't do that, so if that's what you want, definitely don't buy this. On the other hand, if you're looking to cut down heat and electric bills, and you don't mind buying two of these, they will nicely do that 4 x 8 space, with just a little less light than your two 1000W MH lights. I think that's a decent trade off, and that's why even though the claims of wattage and coverage area aren't correct, the product itself is a good one and a good value. Hope that helps you all out. Happy Growing
