I was excited for ink that didn't cost a small fortune. The ink worked well as I replaced each color as they needed. My printer must have done an update and refused to use the ink cartridges. A simple chat with this company and they walked me through troubleshooting and sent me a new set of cartridges that work.

I have an HP 8710 series printer and needed to buy ink cartridges. I normally just go back in my Amazon history and hit purchase again, but when I saw how much it was going to be, started to look for other options. The HP set was going to cost $96.89 and the Smart Ink was ONLY $39.99. That is a huge savings, but I was a little skeptical since there was such a huge price difference. I must say, the cartridges went right in, of course HP comes up with an error comment but you just hit Ok and the printer works like magic. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BUYING HP INK CARTRIDGES!!! If you print a lot and need cartridges, BUY FROM SMART INK!! The print quality is the same or better.

Great price and most of the cartridges work, except for yellow. That cartridge will not work at all. The seller reached out to me and addressed the defective cartridge!

I installed 3 color cartridges and have been printing for a week now. Excellent color and brightness, no bleeding. Great value. Just beware, my HP printer is warning me of “non HP” products and trying to update… which I expect will make the less expensive ink cartridges not work after that update.

I am using an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740. The first cartridges that came in did not work with the printer due to compatibility issues. Customer Service was able to provide some solutions that worked for other customers but my employer’s software restrictions prevented me from using these. They ended up overnighting a different set of cartridges for free with updated compatibility and it works perfectly. I think the performance, value, and customer service make up for the small extra step. Hopefully there will be some way in the future to directly get the updated cartridges for people like me who can’t access the software on my device due to employer restrictions.

The smart ink cartridges worked on my 8-9 yr old HP printer. Their online help via chat (Kevin was super helpful and very efficient and knowledgeable) was amazing and helped me solve my printer ink compatibility problems . I will definitely buy smart ink again! In more detail below: The smart ink group virtually guarantees their ink would work on my HP printer. I followed their instructions and they predicted various problems would occur. They did happen. I then further followed their instructions and contacted their chat line. From here I followed the instructions of the online chat agent (Kevin in my case) and within the predicted 5-10 minutes I was up and running and very happy!!

This was my 2nd time to order Smart Ink for my HP OfficeJet Pro. The 1st order lasted me for several months and I do a lot of printing. This time I had an issue a couple of days after I installed the cartridges. I sent their customer service a message at 8:30pm and received a reply within 3 minutes. The sent me a new set of cartridges the next day and they worked perfect. By far the best ink and customer service out there.

It won’t work with 8715

Highly recommend. At first I was skeptical of going with a brand of ink other than what my printer told me to use. But considering the massive price difference, I gave it a shot. Ended up being a great decision. Quality is great, no different at all vs the “name brands”. After about 8 months of usage I ran into a problem and contacted customer service. After 10-15 mins of troubleshooting the issue wasn’t resolved, so they shipped me new cartridges free of charge which arrived in 2 days. The new ones now work perfect. They even followed up with me 2 days after the new ones were delivered to see if I had a chance to try them and if they were okay or I needed more help. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I got this as a replacement ink for my 8720 HP Officejet Pro. Once installed the cartridges, the printer recognized them as incompatible. Despite the manufacturer's assertion that they are compatible. Also, it didn't help to follow the manufacturer's suggestion and turn off the auto firmware update in the printer. The printer simply did not agree to work with these cartridges. This is a piece of junk --- never again I will buy anything from this company.

After trying to call and info through chat and email, it cannot work with HP8710 as promised. Supplier instruct me to return it back. ☹
