Just keep an eye on the cap with the 2 little studs.
This is really good paint system to have, it just needs a little tweeting, as my daughter says a friend said it was no good. This may help others, I put cold water in the sink not a lot and roll the foam/roller to soak up water all over, gentle shake the roller an softly squeeze the foam to remove water, shake it, squeeze it softly, if water is out, pour paint in the jug then pour it into the roller, ( if your using Matt paint, ) I found it couldn't pour into the roller as it's too thick, I add a little water an stir the paint well an check if it's running, but down over thin ya paint. With the paint now ready to pour in the roller it go's in, put the cap back on, now roll your roller on a paint tray till i seen the paint coming through, I now test the wall before I start my kitchen ceiling, happy with the paint even out, start ceiling. The problem I found as I hear the same from others, the blue cap with 2 little studs dropped out while am roller ceiling, it came out about 5 times and everytime I slapped it back on. To stop this, you need to keep on eye on the cap every few rolls and if it looks like it's coming away, slap it back on, also when I roll the roller I turn it over ie the side that you fill with the paint if it's on your right,. when you turn it, the cap now is next to your thumb. Just do this when you feel like it, because I found it make the paint feel more even in the roller. When you have a break for a cuppa, put the roller in a clear plastic bag an a black bag so it don't dry out, it works great. If your using brilliant white paint silk this paint I found pouring into the roller jug no sweat, no need to put any water to make it run. Also when I felt the roller feeling a little not gliding lol you need to check if it's running low on paint, open up an pour in more paint also cleaning the area around the cap free from paint so it hold's better and give a extra slap it shut. This product works really well if you take time to set up, you really do roll it like on the TV ah😀😀😀

Great idea, shoddy product. Not fit for purpose. Don't buy it.
It is a great idea but badly made. If someone can produce a quality product, it will revoluntionise your painting, but this isn't it. This is a very easy to use and easy to clean product, but it simply does not deliver enough paint, no matter how hard you press the applicator against the wall. I applied four coats and it was less than I would apply in one coat with the ordinary roller and tray. I reverted to the ordinary roller after a day. If you press hard on the paint pro roller, it is supposed to deliver more paint but I was pressing very hard against the wall and still getting a barely noticeable amount of paint out. I felt like the paint pro would fall apart if I pressed any harder. It's quite flimsy for a product that says you have to press hard on it to get a heavy coat of paint. I also found that you have to keep it totally full for any paint to come through the sponge. It's a real pity because it is such a tidy way to paint, and it is very effective in that way. Unfortunately, not only does the paint not go everywhere; it goes nowhere. The two accessories were terrible for different reasons. The corner triangle thing just didn't work and was very messy. The small roller designed to paint around fittings etc didn't work becasue the plastic structure overlapped the sponge; therefore it was impossible to press the sponge against the wall to get any paint to come out.I watched the High Street ad - the product I received was not capable of painting the way that the one in the ad did.

Good Roller, but has its problems.
Bought this thinking it would make things much easier and with less mess, we were wrong. Firstly the paint was Too Thick to penetrate through so after about an hour in the garden mixing water and paint in jugs and 3x attempts I finally made the paint thin enough to work... however after 10 minutes of painting the Roller was empty, and within half an hour my bucket was empty... back outside to mix paint until thin enough... done this around 10 times until room was complete. Secondly - says No Spray and No Mess, this is nonsense. You will DEFINITELY need dust sheets down as even going really slow throws off a fine spray of paint. We learned the hard way by not covering some areas of the room only to find a fine mist of paint over every surface and item :( ... After a few hours of painting the Blue Blank Cap on the end of the roller started falling off so this needed superglue back on.Overall this Roller saves the need for a paint tray, but apart from that everything else is the same as normal roller.Worls well and coverage is good.Worth buying but it is a bit of a faff getting paint to correct consistency and then it's a tricky pour every 10 minutes to refill the Roller.Rolls well though and room turned out well.

Brilliant for a quick clean make over
I dint know why this has such bad reviews. If you follow the instructions clearly it is brilliant. Absolutely no mess and a smooth , no line finish.True the corner/ edge pieces are a waste of time but the actual roller saves so much time.Be careful of cheap knock offs, I bought a spare from e Bay whic was advertised as paint runner TV Pro and it was a useless copy version from China. If you are hesitant, go for it but read and follow the instructions exactly.

It is faster than normal painting but nothing like the promotion.
Because you fill it up it does save time because you don't have to go back to a paint tray. You don't even need a paint tray. Also there are virtually no drips. However, the other claims are not true. It is NOT easy to clean. As you clean it, any leftover paint inside comes out so cleaning takes about 5 times longer that cleaning a normal roller. I have used 1 tin of paint and mine is damaged already, there's a small chip out of the roller. The other tool that can be filled up is no good, the paint does not come out smoothly as the sponge has hardened in parts and the plastic edge gets in the way. I like the tool for doing corners. You could buy 6 normal rollers for the same price so it is not great value. For me it is worth it because it has saved me time and I don't need a super quality finish.
