NIce, but very large
These are great shoes, but unfortunately this style is way too large. They were so big that until I checked I thought I had been sent the wrong size. I held them sole to sole with another pair of KEENs I bought online, (picture attached) and these are at least a full size larger. I would have liked to exchange them, but it looks like this color, Magnet, is gone. I will not order another pair online due to the sizing differences between the KEEN styles.

Cute but not supportive for all day standing.
I give these 5 stars for looks! I love Keen's. I own several pairs of sandals and walking and hiking shoes, I endorse the regular shoes all the time to people with "bad" feet. I tried these on in a store at the end of summer last year and loved the sleek look but knew instantly they would not be good for walking or standing on concrete all day. Several hours at the zoo or a botanical garden would be bad for me.I wore them to work one day when I knew I would be leaving in six hours, but even that was not comfortable for my foot. There is a lack of arch support and the sides of the shoe does not hold my foot firmly so I experienced odd pain in my feet that I never get walking all day in my sandals. However they do look cute so I kept them, but I think it was a splurge at this price since I can only wear them when I am not doing normal strolling. I would not wear these to hike or power walk, but you may have a different experience.

Unusual look but comfortable
I love Keens (especially the hiking boots) and have several pairs in different styles. These are the first I've tried that are a bit pointy in the toes, like a new balance sneaker, so they squish my toes a bit (disclaimer: my toes are squared-off, not tapered like most people's, so I tend to have problems with pointy toes in general, but never before in Keens). Because of the odd lacing pattern (which my teens think is way too trendy for this middle-aged mom but which I think makes my size 11 feet look smaller), it was a bit difficult to loosen things up in the toe area, but I think I'll keep them even though my toes go right to the end. As with all Keens, I would suggest that people unfamiliar with the brand size up. Even people used to Keens may wish to go up a half size if their toes aren't naturally pointy. These are not soft-soled running shoes but they do have a bit of bounce for walking around, and are pretty comfy--except for the toes, they fit me like a glove. I don't like all the artificial plastic-y stuff on the outside--my other Keens have real leather accents and the plastic on the heel and toe makes these shoes look cheap. The sea blue/mimosa color scheme is attractive although my critical children think the Keen name in bright yellow is too much. My feet are pretty flat and the minimal arch support in these is OK for me but may not be enough for people with higher arches--you might need to add an orthotic (in which case I would definitely size up).

Light and Versatile Running Shoe
This is my second pair of Keen A86 TR Trail Shoes. I used the first pair till they wore out, at which point the arch support wasn't so good and my feet began to hurt after wearing them for awhile. I don't remember how long I had that pair, but I'm sure it was longer than you're supposed to keep a pair of running shoes! This pair I have had for a long time now, but haven't been running as much so they are still good. My favorite thing about these shoes is how light they feel, and that they don't have such a thick sole that you feel all clumsy while wearing them. The color options are a lot of fun, too. Although they are a trail shoe, they are fine for running on pavement, too. The versatility is nice because I am not a serious runner and can't see myself purchasing two pairs of running shoes.

Keen A86. Very narrow in the toe. Looks good and good build quality.
Bought for my wife in size 9. She said it is good in the heel but very narrow in the toe. She has never worn anything bigger than a 9 but didn't think going bigger would really do much to resolve the issue. Her feet are of a normal width. Comparing them to her other shoes, the toe is much more pointed. The material in that area is stretchy but not enough. She is going to wear them for a while and see if they stretch out at all, but says as of now after a half hour that three of hers toes are asleep on each foot. She has already ruled them out as shoes she could ever run in.They do look cool. She got the purple and black. Materials and build are also nice. Hopefully they will loosen up enough to be day to day shoes. Not sure what is up with the rest of these reviews. It looks like 3-4 different shoes types, if not more, are getting lumped in here including a bunch of other keen sandals and even a merrell sandal type. My review is of the A86 trail shoe.

in my opinion there is nothing more comfortable than Keen shoes
I must start by saying that I am a huge fan of Keen footwear, in my opinion there is nothing more comfortable than Keen shoes! I purchased these to wear this fall since my Newport sandals just wouldn't cut it in the colder weather! I am definitely not disappointed, they fit as expected and are very comfortable! They also breath very well (that being said, they can be cold if wearing them in freezing temperatures, however I usually am in my boots and not tennis shoes in freezing temps!) The design is unique and the colors are vibrant! highly recommend Keen shoes to anyone!!

Shoe for feet hard to fit
Ok, this is a funky looking shoe, with the opening for the laces curving instead of going straight. It took a little getting used to this design, but I am liking it. The fit was good plenty of room for the "awful" feet. Long enough and tall enough in the toe space. The lacing pulls them nicely around your feet and feel secure. The bottom have a bumply (excuse the made up word) but it is all I could think of to call it. I feel no slipping or anything with this surface and I am not bringing in imbedded dirt. I am giving this a 5 and since I haven't really done any long walks with them, so I guess the jury is still out. But I believe these will work out fine. As I search for the perfect shoe for the "awful" feet.

Not the same as keen hikers
Love the shoe itself but can't wear due to it gives me blisters when walking more than 4 milesWhen I ordered them I thought for sure they would be a great shoe like my other...
