M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer

This is my second M4A3 Sherman with the 105mm howitzer. I've built mine as the focal point for a diorama of the Battle of the Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge), giving it a white-wash camo appearance. The kit is typical for Tamiya as it is good quality and fit, and a breeze to build. For the money, I highly recommend this tank for both novice and experienced builder.

Another nice Tamiya model. Three infantry figures plus a tank commander. Lots of accessories that you can use for storage on your tank. Three decal options including a machine from the Battle of the Bulge. As mentioned in a previous review, the sponsors on the upper hull are not boxed in, leaving a gap above the tracks. If you are ambitious you can fix this mistake. Otherwise a great model.

Arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Tamiya makes good quality products. This particular kit has a few detail flaws but it's nothing I can't live with. Fit and finish are great.

Awesome kit. Easy to assemble. This kit has had value gear stowage added to it.

Lots of little details. Excellent build!

I found this kit to be enjoyable to build in an afternoon. I took off one star, because I feel like if they provide all the extra gear and soldiers, they could've included other details. The periscope guards and tow hooks are missing. The .50 looks good, but I don't think I'll mount it until I figure out to have a tarp over it. I rate this just below the Easy 8 kit they came out with a couple years ago. That kit has the missing detail parts included.

This is a model, so if you are looking at this it is not a Toy. You need glue, paints, and the ability to follow directions. This kit is an oldie but a goody, I have built three of them for other people, and got this one for me probably going to do it in a Fury dio. not sure yet.
