My mom and dad swore by cast iron skillets saying the quality of the food cooked is superior to teflon. Especially if the piece is seasoned well and often. Especially used over an open fire like camping and fishing braising filets of trout with lemon and dill weed. However, lo and behold, a gas stove and oven can easily mimic an open fire. I’ve cooked eggs with this over the gas stove, delicious. I still see YouTube cooks using cast iron, they’re sometimes a pain to clean, but worth the hassle.

Makes great cornbread! Perfect size

I used my Pre- seasoned Cast Iron Cake Pan for Biscuits and loved the results. In preparation for using it the first time I did a little extra seasoning and made sure the pan was well oiled before baking my first biscuits. They turned out golden brown on top and bottom and the flavor was wonderful. I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of purchasing it. Just can't wait until I make mini tarts in it.

This makes perfect biscuits and cornbread! I don’t like rolling out and cutting dough circles for biscuits, so I just put portions in this pan. Technically I guess they’re scones, but they turned out great.

I use this product to make cornbread, it made nice size round pieces of cornbread almost like you had your own little pan of cornbread. I will be ordering more.

The cast iron is very bumpy. I seasoned the pan as I do will all my cast iron and everything sticks. Very difficult to clean.

Bought it to replace a “coated” stick free pan that we wore out. This is a nice pan for scones (part of our daily diet).
