This Will Become Your ENTIRE Family's FAVORITE!! **UPDATE INCLUDED**
When I say this will become your entire family's favorite dressing, I mean it. I've never been an entree/big salad type, but shortly after the pandemic began, it seemed like the perfect time for me to focus on eating a bit healthier. I began eating a variety of fish along with a salad for most of my evening meals. Because I preferred the taste, I stuck mainly to one make of dressings 90+% of the time: "Masako" (Ginger, Honey Ginger & Wasabi) and bought them in bulk so I wouldn't run out. I don't know what item I was searching when I landed upon this Sesame and Miso dressing, but oh, my goodness, am I happy I did. I'm even more pleased that I decided to take a chance and order the Sesame and Miso. It is the best, the ABSOLUTE BEST, salad dressing I have ever eaten, and I mean that quite literally. I never imagined the best-of-the-best blue cheese dressing would ever become #2 to any oil/vinegar Asian-inspired dressing I thought it was so, so incredible that I sent a bottle to each of my adult children. It is now the only dressing used in all of our homes. I haven't used it for a marinade, but it would be excellent with a mild white fish like tilapia, sea bass, and cod. I cannot speak to the other flavors as I have not tried them, but the Sesame & Miso is EXCELLENT. I would describe it has Asian-inspired with a mild "kick" -- definitely mild enough to be suitable for children. It's not like any Asian flavored-type dressing I've ever eaten, though, and hard to describe. It has the perfect balance/ratio of oil to vinegar (canola oil : rice vinegar). I can eat this for all 14 of my lunch & evening meals. It really is that good. It's quite literally the PERFECT SALAD DRESSING. Having this dressing in my fridge actually makes me WANT to eat an entree salad. I usually buy a romaine-based bagged salad and a separate bag of a 3-type blend of all shredded cabbage (green, purple, & white), and use 2:1 cabbage to romaine. It's this dressing that makes eating a majority cabbage salad a delight! For those who take their dressing to the office for lunch, this dressing comes in a bottle with a top cover that securely pops/clicks on with a smaller screw-on top underneath making it nearly impossible to spill, regardless of how the bottle gets bumped around and squeezed. In fact, I carry this in my luggage on all of my trips as a flight attendant and have never had so much as a drop leak out! To say I love this dressing would be an understatement. I live alone, and excluding the orders I sent to my adult children, I have ordered the sesame & miso dressing 8 times in the last 7 weeks, and I just ordered my 9th bottle just prior to this review. Although I would like to at some point in the future, I have not yet tried the three other flavors. I think the reason I haven't ordered one of them is because I can't believe any other dressing would be able to top the Sesame and Miso. This salad dressing is the equivalent of a spectacular Grand Cru Bordeaux but at a much more reasonable price! If you're on the fence about ordering, I suggest giving it a go and trying one bottle -- that's what I did, and I am so very pleased I did!**Update**When I wrote my original review, I had only tried the " Sesame Miso" flavor. I've since purchased one bottle of the "Original Flavor". I have to say that the Original Flavor was terribly disappointing after a dozen or so bottles of the Sesame & Miso flavor. The Original has such a mild flavor; I found it quite bland, actually. After my first use, it was so bland, that I thought I may not have shaken the bottle enough before using. I made sure to vigorously shake the bottle the next two times, and it was the same. I will NOT be purchasing the Original Flavor, again. I'm still in love with the Sesame & Miso, and it will remain stocked in my fridge. While the flavor of the Sesame & Miso is hard to fully explain the taste explosion going on in my mouth, I CAN say that I've turned 5 other people on to it so far. They've all been blown away by it. Two of those five were recently at my home for an evening meal and prior to coming actually asked if I would be serving a salad and, if so, was I planning to offer the Sesame & Miso as a dressing option --addding, that they'd be happy to bring a bottle if I was out of it. (Yes, we're close enough for them to ask this!!). I can't think of a better endorsement than that! I think the Sesame & Miso dressing is so special, that I'm thinking of adding it to every adult's Christmas present, including work colleagues!! This dressing is one if those rare things that after experiencing it, you want everyone in your life to experience it, as well. One day, I'll get around to trying the Ginger and the Lemon, and when I do, I'll come back and give an update AGAIN!! Until then, I'll be enjoying bottle after bottle of the wonderful Sesame & Miso!!

Super tasty! A favorite!
I love this salad dressing! I found it in a Japanese grocery store while I was on a trip, so was super excited when I found it on Amazon! It’s very tasty and great for my gluten intolerance. I love to pair it with cucumbers and avocado and rice. Also great mixed with some kewpie mayo if you like a creamier dressing!

We love this
We absolutely love this brand of salad dressing. The flavor is perfectly balanced isn't overpowering one way or the other. The brand uses quality ingredients and is easily shaken up. It does have shoyu in it though, so it's salty, but the flavors balance it out.

I'm in need for variety packs please
Original flavor is my favorite but this one was great with salmon. It has more kick to it than the original flavor but I love both.Wish they made a variety flavor option like 3 flavor bottle set or 6 flavor bottle set. I am in need of their dressing for like few weeks now that I ran out of them and was trying out the dressings from grocery stores.. the American dressings are so sweet for some reason...

Love this dressing. Will buy the 6 pack.
Absolutely love this dressing after my mom introduced it to me. We got the sesame and miso flavor and it's made eating salads enjoyable for me. Quickly went through the one bottle and definitely need to invest in the 6 pack.

I used to eat these at a restaurant in Hawaii.
The dressing is delicious and tastes like what the flavor describes. I easily could have given it five stars. But I am saving the five stars for another flavor I remember liking better and thought was perfect. I believe that one was the original.

Our sons love this versatile salad dressing
You can kid yourself into thinking that a homemade sesame miso dressing is just as good as Angelo Pietro Sesame & Miso Dressing but anyone whose enjoyed the real thing will know better.Angelo Pietro dressings are versatile as a marinade for seafood, pork, poultry, and beef as well as a dip blended with mayonnaise and as a dressing for vegetable dishes and pasta.Bottles retail for $6-7 and can occasionally be found on sale, two for $8-10. All of this means that the Amazon price with the Subscribe & Save option, currently $5.89 is reasonable. Now, a 9.3-ounce bottle of dressing might not sound like a good value at the price but this dressing is dabbed on rather than poured on foods. The thin cap restricts the dressing to a slow dribble. How good is it? Well, my sons (ages 11 and 9), sneak pieces of French bread into the bottom of their salad bowl to soak up the last few drops. The salad bowls empty much faster when Angelo Pietro Sesame & Miso Dressing is added instead of ranch or Italian dressings.* All Natural, No MSG, No Cholesterol, No Preservatives* Made in the USA (California)INGREDIENTS: Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Water, Brown Sugar, Sesame Oil, Rice Vinegar, Sesame Seeds, Onions, Salt, Distilled Vinegar, Soybeans, Contains 2% or Less of the Following: Rice, Wheat, Cottonseed Oil, Red Pepper, Fava Beans, Yeast Extract, Garlic, Citric Acid, Sardines, Maltodextrin, Tangle Extract, Maltose Syrup, Sugar, Spices, Xanthan Gum, Shiitake Mushroom Powder, Bonito Powder. Allergen Info: Contains Fish, Soy, WheatRating: Five starsEXTRAHere's the story behind the dressing from angelopietro[dot]com:The Start from One Restaurant. The story behind Angelo Pietro reads a bit like the Japanese version of our own American dream.A man with a big passion for Italian cuisine, Pietro Founder Kunihiko Murata followed his heart and opened a small Italian pasta restaurant in 1980 in his hometown of Fukuoka, in south-western Japan. He quickly learned that Japanese food lovers shared his passion for the flavors of Italy. One restaurant became two, then four, and within a few years, Murata was running a successful chain of over 60 Angelo Pietro restaurants throughout Japan. The hugely popular Angelo Pietro salad dressings began as a humble sideline to the pasta business. "We cook our pastas to order and that takes about 10 minutes," said Mr. Murata. "To keep our patrons happy, we created the idea of an Italian vinaigrette with Japanese flavors to accompany a small salad and vegetables as a start. Customers loved it, but most importantly, children loved it." As the story goes, parents noticed that children would eat their salads and vegetables - but only with Pietro's special dressing. After repeated requests from parents for dressing to take home to families, Mr. Murata began filling his empty wine bottles with salad dressing. He soon realized that he had a hit on his hands, something that would eventually become an even bigger success than his original restaurant concept. From these modest beginnings, Pietro Dressings have now become the best-selling soy dressings in Japan with more than 17 million bottles of dressing produced and sold each year. "And I give full credit to the children of Japan, who served as our inspiration, said Murata. I sincerely hope that American families have the same experience!"

Really good Asian dressing
I have been looking for a dressing similar to the one that the Japanese restaurant uses near my house and this one is very good! I had high hopes and was pleasantly surprised. I expect to be eating a lot of of this!
