Perfect depth; Interesting storage alternative
I bought this to replace a jelly cupboard that stored our pantry items when I realized we needed storage with better air circulation. (The jelly cupboard was positioned directly against the fridge, and condensation started dripping inside it.)The assembly is simple enough to do without even looking at the instructions, as I have put together about 15 similarly designed shelving units. The manufacturer even supplies 6 spare plastic sleeves, which is great because the plastic is easily breakable. But I did encounter something with this unit more often than in any of the other units. These plastic sleeves would slip off or down extremely easily when I tried to put each shelf on. But once in place, they are very secure. These shelving units are super strong and you can easily change the shelf heights as needed. Just take note that each shelf has about a 1-inch high outer rim all around it. This might preclude you from storing, say, books wider than the usable shelf depth of just about 9.75 inches. The wheels* do not have to be used; 4 leveling feet are provided and can be substituted instead. But since I move furniture around almost weekly, I opted for the wheels. Plus, I can roll it aside to vacuum - well, theoretically that is, as I don't do this sort of thing as often as I should. But good to know!* Top heavy? Yes, this unit can become wobbly from being top-heavy. If you DO use the wheels, make sure each wheel is pointed outward from the base. Doing so will reduce _but not entirely eliminate_ the instability. Whether or not the wheels are used, make sure the bottom shelf holds heavy items.

Good For Small Space But Overpriced
I looked quite a bit for shelving with wheels that would fit in the narrow space next to my refrigerator. In terms of measurements and mobility, it fits my needs perfectly. But my satisfaction stops there. The materials are not as sturdy as similar shelving I've purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's. It's definitely lighter. The ad calls it "commercial grade." I wouldn't call it that at all. Also, for a cart of this height, the wheels should be bigger and heftier to keep it stable while moving, not these cheap plastic casters that don't glide so smoothly. If you're going to store heavy items, it can easily topple while moving. I don't store heavy items, but even the cumulative weight of smaller things makes it unstable to move. When pulling it out of the corner, I use both hands to keep it steady and to help the wheels along. I'm thinking to replace the wheels with larger, sturdy rubber ones I saw at my hardware store (and invest more money in something that wasn't worth it's price to begin with). The packaging was flimsy, not sturdy enough for shipping, and was torn when it arrived. The poles are packaged separately inside, and one carton was torn open. With the shipping carton being so lightweight, that pole could have easily torn through and been lost in transit. One customer wrote that poles were missing. That's probably what happened.Bottom line is that I would have rather bought the better quality shelving from Home Depot or Lowe's for the same price, but could not because they were not the right size. Although this has worked for my constraints, it's more relevant to rate on quality and value. It is overpriced at $100 for the quality of materials and being made in China. I feel it's not worth more than half that. If you only feel lukewarm satisfaction once you've received and examined it, you're stuck. If you're not constrained for measurements as I was, I would pass on this and get something sturdier for the same price at a retailer where you can see and touch before you buy.

Terrible quality.
Packaging claims you can put this together in less than 10 minutes. The instructions reference that it is important to place certain parts with "arrows facing up" - there are no arrows on the part. The pieces do not fit together, and a wheel snapped in half after putting it on. 45 minutes in I have one shelf and 3 broken wheels.

You need a rubber mallet to assemble..........
Although I did use a regular hammer, just gently. The instructions say to make sure the clip arrows face up, even with my glasses on, there were no arrows, but you can figure it out, one end is narrower than the other so that is what must be on top. The clips do slide and the assembly took me almost 2hrs (with one bout of profanity) but in the end there is a nice and solid shelf unit that does the job. I do kind of wish I had ordered the more expensive and colorful shelf system from the catalog, but with a little patience this is a good solid shelf unit and certainly meets my needs. I put canned goods on the middle and lower shelves, small appliances on the bottom and cereal, etc. on the top and have had no problems with it being top heavy. One confusion was the addition of many shelf end pieces that were not included in the (sparse) assembly directions and were not needed at all. They were kind enough to include extra shelf clips that I truly hope not to need in the future. All said, a good purchase. A small note, plan on vacuuming after assembly, there is a great deal of styrofoam bits from the packaging.
