Excellent quality and protective, especially the metal frame over the camera section. The Xiaomi 14 ultra camera section has a glass cover over the lenses. It feels very exposed but the Neewer case protects it very well. The frame allow you to both add filters to the whole camera section (covering all lenses) or add external lenses to the main, telephoto, periscope lenses) but not the ultrawide lens)

I absolutely love this NEEWER 15 Ultra Cage! If you're serious about phone filming, this is a must-have. The build quality is solid—it feels super secure and professional once my phone is locked in, and the quick-release mechanism is super handy when you need to switch between setups fast. The biggest win for me is the 67mm filter adapter. Being able to throw on a proper ND or CPL filter has made a huge difference in my outdoor video quality. Plus, it gives you tons of mounting points for a mic and a light. It completely transforms your phone into a true video rig. Great value for the quality and features you get!

This case provides a very sturdy and solid fit on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The design is robust and feels like it will give excellent protection, although obviously the main reason for choosing this cage is not for it's protective functionality, but for its wealth of mounting options. The filter adapter is extremely useful and all the phone's lenses are catered for and unimpeded, while the cold shoe and quarter inch mounting mean you get a wealth of additional mounting options. While it's not cheap at around £40 at the time of writing (after vouchers are applied), it's not overly expensive, and does vastly improve your mounting options and the possibilities for using what is an excellent onboard camera in more versatile ways.

An impressive Cage designed to expand the Mobile's capabilities with additional mounting points and lens Backplates. Both the Mobile and Backplates are fitted and removed with the Upper Bracket open. Once that is closed, and locked, both are then held very securely. I'm keeping this Review generic, because NEEWAR also offer almost identical Cages for other Mobiles, so the images and video broadly relates to their similar offerings. For example, the Cage for the SAMSUNG S25 Ultra is the NEEWAR PA082. My main aim is to show you the Cage via images and a video, which may also help other Mobile users where NEEWAR offer a compatible Cage. For the avoidance of doubt, this is a Cage, not a Case, so it will inevitably feel comparatively heavy, simply because it has to support the weight of both the Mobile, and all attached peripherals, all without any bending or flexing. Indeed, if it did not feel heavy and robust, that would suggest a bigger problem. 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 With the Upper Frame open, as mentioned, these can be fitted, and removed, very quickly. My video shows my first attempt to do this, and it was very easy. After doing it a few times, the Backplate changes become entirely intuitive, and much faster to achieve. After a week of use, the changes will become smooth and rapid. The point here, is on a busy photo shoot, it will be easy to change Backplates and, in turn, Lenses. So this Cage will soon become a hard working and essential part of your Mobile based photographic equipment. This should facilitate you having the right Lens in place, at exactly the right time. 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗕𝘂𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗲? Yes, I was impressed with the quality, and ease with which the Mobile can be inserted, and extracted. Model: 𝗣𝗔𝟬𝟵𝟭.

I do personally have a few products from Neewer, including the equivalent cage for my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The build quality of the cage is very good and it doesn’t add too much weight or bulk to the phone,bearing in mind its metal construction. Placing the phone in there is simply enough to do and it feels secure once in there. Where the phone sits, around the edges there is a rubberised material to protect the phone. You get two backplates for various lenses and extensions and these are relatively easy to install - inserted with the cage top open There’s plenty of mounting options, screw and cold shoe, around all the edges and everything is nicely balanced. I found it both easy and comfortable to hold. Popping an LED light on via one of the cold shoes took only a few seconds and there’s easily enough room for a mic and tripod/bipod. Now I do have the same observation with this cage as I did with my one and that the lower ⅔ of the phone's back are exposed. Personally, I would've preferred the option of a removable cover. The reason I say removable is that it would still allow the option of attaching a small magnetic Powerbank. I think £56.99 is good value, as I am impressed with the overall build quality and accessories. At the time of writing this review there was a 20% off tick-box voucher on the Amazon UK product page, taking the price down to £45.59. Which is excellent value for money. Neewer does really nice kit for the price, so I was excited to get their cage for one of my favourite phones ATM, the Xiaomi 15U, especially since its own photo kit is rather disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it's a great one, a really nice piece of equipment that looks and feels the part. It assembles easily, fits the phone like a glove, and is absolutely chock full of possibilities. So why the 3 stars then? Well, it all comes at a price, and I don't mean the one on the bill. That frame is ridiculously heavy, and added to a phone that's not quite the most svelte to start with, it makes it a serious chonk. So fine if you're using it with a tripod, but if you're trying to use it freehand, you're going to get serious issues. Shame, but then I guess it's what comes from being built like a tank

Quality: Neewer always make quality products and this is no exception. Sturdily made. Fit: fits the phone perfectly, no rattling around and does not damage the phone Size: adds a bit of heft to the phone due to it being metal and surrounding the phone entirely but nothing that a lanyard or hand grips won't overcome. Value for money: They are not the cheapest, but you are paying for quality and I would say it is worth the money
