Coolibar UV Face Mask with Adjustable Features - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Zenith

I have a sensitivity to the sun and this mask is a huge help in sun protection. It covers my face from ear to ear and from top of cheeks to below chin. The fabric is stretchy and thin and comfortable. It has a seam that opens below the nose so you can breathe and get discreet ventilation. Overall, if you are sun sensitive and want protection, this is great and looks better than any other mask I’ve seen or owned.

I have serious melisma problem on my cheek abd have tried various products from dermatologists for se real years. Finally found minutia vitamin c to be useful along with sunscreen but still need to protect my side cheeks in the summer because from sun ray. My side cheek always get burnt in the sun in the summer living in Texas. I have 2 bought 2 pairs of this mask to place on my face while driving or walking in the sun to my car or doing gardening activities. To my surprise , i have not had the melisma problem since I started using this mask since May 2024.. I planned to continue using it with sunscreen underneath the mask. Often times people will ask me why am wearing it or ask if I have Covid. I tell them it is for sun protection and no Covid. Khloe Kardasia had skin cancer/ tumor removed from her cheek and am not planning of having same issue. People who are having problem with nose covering need to keep in mind every one has different nose shapes, some are flat, medium pointed, very long pointed, etc and I don’t think the mask is made for different nose shapes. I can breathe in this UV mask, which is very important.

I wear this when I bike ride to block out the sun. Works well for the purpose and I like that the sides comes up high to cover the high cheeks which is prime area to get sunspots! Also it does double duty to block out dust when riding. I do wish that the breathing hole was bigger.

For several years I have had actinic keratosis issues on my face and finally decided that I needed more protection than just a sun hat and sun screen. The Coolibar mask is the best addition I have found. It is light, soft and comfortable. Very easy to wear and it looks great. There is a little slot near the nose to enhance breathing. It provides the wide coverage I need (I purchased a Large) extending above my sideburn areas. I have not had the chance to wear it on hot summer days but I would think that it is light enough not to cause discomfort. The true test is whether or not it does indeed provide UPF 50+ protection. So far, the mask appears to be an excellent product made by a company which is dedicated to protecting us outdoor lovers from harmful UV rays. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this brand because it was mentioned on a Youtuber's channel (a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills) who was touting it's benefits for sun protection, and while it worked well, I had nothing to compare it to. I recently started to use another brand made in Korea, which I will not mention here out of respect to Coolibar (you can find the product through my reviews), and as a product that was highly recommended by an esteemed surgeon, I thought this was "the" one. I found this mask adequate for short periods working in the yard but would have to remove it often due to ear fatigue from the elastic and the weight, while relatively light, wore down on my face with it's weight and heat-trapping qualities. I went from being paranoid without face covering needing it all the time to just using sunscreen and a golf cap/visor to shade my face because of discomfort, which still didn't cut the sun rays that bounced off the sidewalks and driveway, but it was just too hot and heavy for me after a few hours. I also like the other brand's design that goes all the way up to the side of your eye, the "crow's feet" area with precision, which this mask did not do (not for me, anyway). The other brand is very light weight and does not get hot and breathes a lot better. The price was steep for its provided value which was $35.00 when I purchased it. I use the Korean brand and that one costs $12.00 and for the price I can buy 3 of those vs the price for this one mask. I appreciate this is a US-based brand with great credibility (products made in other countries, however) but this product failed to meet my long-term needs.

I like the way the wire elastic ones fit more snug, but honestly these work 10/10, fabric is amazing sun protector. I’m just curious if I put these in the dryer on high on accident is the protection ruined?

Very impressed by this face mask. I ordered a L/XL and it fits perfectly. I would recommend maybe ordering 1 size larger for a really comfortable fit. Not really a covid mask so good to order it a bit larger. I just had some sun spots removed on my cheeks and sides and needed to stay out of the sun..and this is perfect to protect when I’m out playing golf. Very impressed. High quality and easily breathable through the nose opening. Highly recommend

It fits well, print is good, and provides good spf protection when skin is rly vulnerable. Easy to wash. Definitely comfortable and easy to wash. Weight is good. Holds up under washing. Good value for money. This is a mask that PERFORMS under sun pressure!

I love this product. It is so thoughtfully designed. It is far from a normal face mask. The nose hole is great and it fits right up under the eye. I am so pleased and although some reviews say bad quality and fell apart there were lots of good reviews too. This company says it is endorsed by skin cancer foundation. So it should be good from that point of view. I feel it will give me the confidence to go out for long walks in the sun without sun damage. I like coolibar. But only time will tell if the product is as good as I hope.
