Works well. Keeps my 12v battery charged for my electric gate.

A solar panel was obtained on the top of the gate collium, and a module and a lithium battery were connected to the inside, and four 12 volt leds were attached to enable automatic on/off at night. You can enjoy a wonderful night view like a photo. As a result of testing by purchasing one a few months ago, good results were obtained, so 4 panels were needed for 2 gates, so 3 additional panels were purchased. The size was appropriate, and I am satisfied with everything about the product.

After having another set of expensive batteries just die on us, we concluded the old small solar panel for the driveway gate just wasn't producing enough juice to keep them topped up. This, even though we don't open and close it all that often. Unfortunately, the usual replacement solar panels offered by the gate manufacturers are crazy-expensive, so I thought I'd try this alternative: 4x the rated wattage, and rather larger. It seems to be working just fine, although I deducted one star because the panel comes with absolutely no mounting brackets and nothing but a couple of unevenly-drilled holes in the aluminum bezel. We ended up constructing our own mount out of an old DirecTV dish mount and a wooden slide-in frame we designed ourselves. It took more work overall, but saved us a ton of money going this route. We didn't need any special inverters or control circuits because the driveway gate electronics were already set up for the solar panel input, and the voltage was right in line with what the box expects.

I've purchased 2 of these for keeping the batteries charged on my drive gates. They both are working fine and have not faltered. The oldest has been going over 2 years now. Temperature here in northern NV runs 100° summers to single digits in winter. Very little moisture.

I liked the size as it perfectly matched my need and it charges the battery effectively. I wish it had more of the output wires tinned as that would have made the soldering easier. Overall I was satisfied.

Used to keep battery charged on UTV. Has really helped with cold weather starting. The frame-to-glass fit is OK but I added silicone caulk to ensure it would be waterproof. The only drawback to this item is the location of the mounting holes - they are in the bottom of the frame which makes installation awkward. I used zip ties through these holes for temporary mounting to check operation. After a few weeks, I drilled holes through the sides of the frame to make permanent installation easier.
