I bought Vitamin B1 because I read online that if you take Vitamin B1 it will prevent mosquito bites. I live in a neighborhood that is near a preserve, we have serious issues with mosquitoes. The mosquito abatement trucks are in our neighborhood weekly. Last year I had at least 20 bites and they would itch, hurt and bleed. After reading online about Vitamin B preventing bites, though it hasn’t been proved, I thought it’s worth a try. Yesterday, we were outside swimming, my sons girlfriend while in the pool got two bites on her face, my husband which he never gets bit, he got three bites on his legs. I had none they were flying around me but not one bite! My husband was telling me B1 will wire me and I won’t be able to sleep at night. Not true, I take one in the morning and sleep fine at night. The only thing I notice is I do sometimes get Vitamin burps in the morning, but it is well worth it.

I originally bought this product due to a suggestion from a family member that it helps aid in not getting bit as often from mosquitoes. I didn't believe it at 1st but after a few weeks of the B1 being in my system I did notice how I wasn't attracting mosquitoes as often in the Summer time as in the past years. I was impressed. Maybe 4 bites this past Summer compared to 15 plus in the past. I have no idea why I would get bit often but I just knew I was once a favorable target. The supplement is also easy for me to take & really has no true taste to it. I will be ordering more.
