3DS XL Retro NES Edition System

I think this is one of the best things I've ever bought. I wasn't sure about it at first because I was concerned about the battery life, general durability, and memory capacity... But it has exceeded my expectations. I also love the retro controller design on this version, as I grew up playing the NES. I was worried about scratching the system, but the clear protector case I ordered does a great job protecting it. I'd suggest having electronic wipes handy; because the screen, and control 'pad' get dirty easily... But I anticipate playing this system for a long time to come.

First off I ordered this one expecting a fresh clean brand new 3DS XL with a fancy shmansy new NES skin, but when I got the package I open it up to a flicking red and black 3DS XL that looks like it's been taking on deployments to Iraq and dropped off the back of a Humber several times. Not only did the "new" DS I got not work it didn't even have an SD card in it like it said it would. I was very disappointed in this scam since the boxes all had 2 different bar codes on it one for the red and black and then the NES bar aide slapped right overtop of it. Worst crap ever. 0/10 would not buy again

The item was in great condition! I got this system to play once in a while, but mainly as a collector item and this was in far better condition than I could have hoped for. It even came with the original box and unopened AR cards!

This isn't the latest model of this and it will not play a few games. I would get the latest model (marked NEW 3DS XL). Nintendo naming is horrible!

I bought this pre-owned. It was nearly perfect. My only complaint is that the left stick has mad drift upwards. Other than that the console came.with the expected wear and tear nothing overly marring.... Just obvious that the folks selling this didn't boot it up and play it. Left stick drift is real bad.

Great detail looks like a bigger NES control receive the boxed not welled wrapped. Had damaged corners of the box...I know that doesn't matter to nany but l try to keep everything in mint condition.

It would be best to call this a different title like in Decent condition.

Had an original 3DS and loved it. Thought about upgrading to XL but didn't give any serious consideration until I saw the retro NES edition. XL upgrade was worth it and I love that it looks like the game paddle I grew up with.
