LaserMaxLaserMax Centerfire® Light/Laser (Red) CF-Shield-C-R with GripSense for Use On Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm/40

Exactly what I was hoping for. The thing feels solid, looks great on my firearm, the GripSense is perfect, the laser is almost dead on aligned with no adjustments, and the light is much brighter than I expected, but definitely DOES have that green color to it, which I wasn't expecting...but then I read the description again afterwards and realized that it says, in plain English, "100 lumen MINT light" so, that is my own fault for not reading.Anyway, the installation was simple. Two screws...The best thing about this is the Grip Sense. I was kind of skeptical about buying one of these because I was worried about the light and laser coming on if I hit the activation buttons on my leg, but they are nice and strudy, and almost flush, so you can't really accidentally turn them on...but the grip sense...just how "sensey" is it? Enought to activate because of my body being close? No, you have to be RIGHT up on the trigger guard, dead center of it for the light to come on. The light comes on when you hold it and shuts off immediately when you let go.There are 5 different modes you can have it set to. There is Steady Light and Laser, Steady Light and Pulsing Laser, Steady Laser only, Pulsing Laser only, and Steady Light only. I would have liked a strobe feature on the light, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. Changing the mode is as simple as holding the two activation buttons at the same time and releasing them.One other neat feature that I wasn't expecting was that the flashlight has an adjustable brightness. You can go all the way from 100 lumen down to just 4 lumen if you like. And adjusting that is almost exactly the same as adjusting the modes, but instead hold ONE activation button until you have reached the brightness desired then release...it will keep that brightness until you readjust it. To brighten the light back up, simply hold ONE activation button again until the brightness that you like is reached...then let go.One final note worth saying, the laser adjustment... Now, mine was pretty much dead center out of the box...so I probably won't adjust it much at all, but the instructions do say NOT to turn the adjustment screws a full turn in ANY direction or you can damage the laser. Just a warning so you don't get torqing on them too much, the adjustments you make should be very, very small. One quarter turn is about a 3 inch adjustment at 10 yards.Overall, this exceeded my expectation, and I would definitely recommend it.

I got this product for my wife's purse gun. Once I got it installed we went to the range and dialed it in. She was able to consistently hit the target using the laser. We did the "parallell" sighting in, so the bullet consistently hits 1.75 inches ABOVE where you point the laser at, every time. I feel sorry for whoever tries to assault her in the future because with this product she will do some serious damage. Don't mess with Texans. :)

I have used this for over a year now. It works well and doses exactly what it’s meant to do and there are holsters out there for this. Cross Breed makes a IWB tuck-able one.The one problem I have had is this thing goes through batteries fast. Now, I have to give the device the benefit of the doubt, I use an inside the pocket holster and its contact with my leg might be activating the smart touch sensor.So if the sensor is going off while holstered because it’s touching your body, buy a lot of the batteries.

Easy install, perfect, smooth fit, easy to operate. On target as delivered.

At first this system worked great. Easy install and relatively bright light and laser. However after 3.5 weeks the entire system malfunctions. For example, with full grip the pressure pad no longer engages or recognizes your finger resulting in the laser/light to fail. When pressure pad does engage laser/light illuminates for a split second then shuts off even with your finger on the pressure pad. When it works it’s great but kinda crappy results especially for the price tag.

Nice addition. The light is very bright and laser is clear and adjustable. Very blinding to another person and hard to see what or who is behind the light. Easy finger position and the hand detection sensor very surprising to see. I keep it off and prefer the button but I was definitely impressed that it had that capability.

I'm surprised on how many features this little light has. super happy with it .

I'm very pleased with this product, it works as advertised! it's point and shoot accuracy.
