Well crafted & safe incense burner
A lovely item that I feel safe placing on top of my desktop computer tower! It allows me to burn incense without worrying about it catching fire. I use the small sticks and the item performs as desired.

Mehhhh
Had to modify it by placing bottle caps at the ends so the incense stick doesn’t lay flat on the bottom of the tray otherwise it won’t burn. And you can’t burn the sticks with the lid on so the smoke comes out of the holes because the lid will snuff it out. It seem whoever made this just made a rectangular box and decided to call it a censer. It works if you customize it

Not great
The coffin is advertised as an incense holder and it does not have any holes to put the incense

Beautiful, handmade, easy to clean
MEDOOSKY Ceramic Coffin Incense Burner: Beautiful handmade ceramic incense burner. It is a traditional Chinese / Himalayan style burner which is smaller than the Indian wooden coffin type. I downloaded some photos of both types side by side for comparison. This ceramic incense burner has a heart shaped opening at both ends for the incense stick to stick through, these ceramic coffin types come with a strip of non-flammable material which is placed inside the burner and the incense stick lays on the material, and catches the ashes, material is removable for cleaning. From that perspective it is different than the other wooden style coffins in which the stick is placed in a little hole and is suspended inside the coffin with the top is closed. Some people have complained that the incense extinguishes in this burner before it is completely burned. That maybe due to lack of air circulation inside the burner. I have overcome this by keeping the top slightly open, as shown in the photos, it allows more air in, and after burning 3 dozen incense sticks I have had no issues of them extinguishing prematurely. To me that is an insignificant issue, not something worth complaining about. But what I DO LIKE about this ceramic coffin burner is the ease of cleaning, AND more importantly, the fact that the resin build up does not soak up into the ceramic material. Unfortunately resin does soak up into the wood of a wooden coffin burner. My wooden coffin burner stinks, so just handling it is not enjoyable. The resin also will stain the wood, and not in a good way. And no amount of cleaning will remove the smell from the wood. These are not problems when the burner is made of ceramic material. That was my initial reason for trying this ceramic burner, and I’m very satisfied with the purchase, clean-up is very easy. I just take out the non-flammable material and shake the ash off and then wipe the resin buildup from the inside with a paper towel. You can run it under warm water also if you’d like, after all, it’s ceramic like your dishes so easy to clean and dry, unlike the wooden coffin burners.Overall very satisfied with this purchase, Looks really nice, I don’t have any issues with its performance, once I figured out to keep the top slightly open (check the photos), enjoy it daily, ceramic material stays cool to the touch even when I burn incense in it all day stick after stick, ease of cleaning is my favorite thing about it. And look forward to the glazing effect and color change over the years it will be used.

Yikes and I bought 2!
So I should have read all the reviews because everything I tried to keep the incense burning was a epic fail. What is the trick? Gasoline?
