Taste Absolutely great
First off the package took a very long time but thats probably because the package is literally traveling across the world, but it isn't the seller/producers fault since they're only selling the product; not delivering it. Anyways the package did take long, most likely the package is literally flying across the world so it was anticipated that the candy would probably take 1-10 days. Oddly enough It came faster then I thought(total of 6 days). But again it's not the sellers fault. Now for the candy. It taste absolutely great! The candy taste exactly how you expected to be, in fact some of the drop taste almost real. The candy is indeed a hard candy and I wouldn't recommend it to babies. But other then that it's great to have with you or in your bag. The candy obviously comes in a tin can, sealed extremely tight with a small cap which I recommend using a spoon or a fork to pry open. Also I may mention. The container may look small, it's very well holds a good amount of candy(unless you literally eat 4 or 5 in one day). Upon opening, the candy comes in assortment of color and shapes, flavor by color of course(red:strawberry, Green:apple, Brown:chocolate, Purple:grape, White:mint, light yellow:melon, orange:orange, ect.). The candy is coated with a powder sugar to prevent clumping and it comes in many unique shapes. The tin Is resealable and easy to store, although the container is tin, it is prone to be bent. Other then that the candy is absolute.Pros-taste real-comes in a can-easy storage-can't get enough-tasty afCons-comes in a tightly sealed can-careful when eating it, don't wanna choke on it although it's very small (smaller then a quarter?)

This iconic candy will soon be unavailable
These candies are flavored with real fruit juices and they taste great. They are an iconic candy in Japan that has been produced continually since the turn of the previous century. These candy tins are also famous for being prominently featured in the award winning animated film Grave of the Fireflies. The company that produces this candy is set to go out of business in January 2024 so they won’t be available for purchase much longer.Don’t confuse this Sakuma’s Drops candy with Sakuma drop candy. They are actually two different brands of Japanese candy.Sakuma’s Drops are the original. Sakuma Drops broke away from the original company many decades ago.Sakuma Drops come packaged in a green tin rather than a red one and will continue to be produced as far as I know.

A classic candy
I bought this because my friends was doing a studio ghibli movie night and I had to buy these. The candy is honestly really good the chocolate was a little off but that's because I never had hard candy taste like chocolate. They are really addictive I bought 2 tins and they only lasted a week max. The tin is really nice for coins and piggy banks they fit coins as big as a quarter.

Get it now while you can!
I had read the article on SoraNews about the company making Sakuma Drops going out of business early 2023. I decided to see how available the tins were and got one. The candy is quite good - in spite of all the promised fruit flavors, I got one which tasted like Chocolate! I recommend getting the Grave of the Fireflies adorned tin for an inexpensive movie souvenir.

Cute tin, delicious candy!
I love this tin, and especially how the tamper seal leaves a "seal" on after you take it off. It's a nice touch, and not something you commonly see. Opening the lid was a little troublesome, but I simply used the edge of a spoon to pop open the lid of the tin.The candy looks and smells fresh, and it's all within the expiration date. Although the candy is a bit large, and the tin itself is small, you don't really get a whole lot with it, since it's almost 3 ounces after all. It's a good purchase for me, I like how it looks, how it tastes overall so far, and it's a great gift or treat to somebody who likes hard candies.Oh, and please teach them how to open the tin, they might struggle to open it at first!

Yummy hard candies
These drops are delicious. Each individual flavor is intense and the candies last quite awhile (if you don't crunch them, that is!) Even the chocolate is pretty decent, but keep in mind it's a chocolate flavored hard candy, not a chocolate! I only got a couple of the mint ones in mine, but it was a nice, refreshing mint flavor when I did come across it. All said, my favorite has to be the grape.

Amazing taste
I've ordered this twice now and will definitely order it again. First of all it's from a great film, second, the candies themselves have such a good flavor, none like I've had before.

Lasts Long, Tastes Great
They're absolutely great. I was surprised that they had a chocolate flavor - it tastes like hot chocolate in my opinion - but otherwise the fruit flavors are extremely close to the real thing. Each one lasts around 5-10 minutes if you just let em melt and not crush em with your teeth. There's a deceptively large amount of the candy drops inside despite the small looking can ( I counted 27, but 3 were broken so I guess 30?)I would recommend these to anyone who loves fruity candy and lollipops, but hate the paper stick.Edit: My first and second can didn't have any peppermint, but my third can does. I do buy these in bulk since they take a long time to ship, also because they're a good value (5 bucks each tin).
