It works
I droped a starter bolt into the bell housing and I could not remove the bolt without damaging the ring gear. With the powerlifter magnetic tool I was able to retrieve the bolt and finish the job. If I did not have the magnetic lift I would have to remove the transmission ( a major job ) and get the car running. This tool saved me a lot of time and grief.

I like it
It has a good strong magnet on it. Costs a little more than most pickup tools but it seems to be well made so it's worth it to me.

Not great
Handle plunger arrived bent and the chrome on the magnet had peeled off. What I really didn't like is that the plunger on the handle has to stay depressed while retrieving an item or the magnet will go back inside its housing if let go. I was under the impression this functioned differently. Returned
