Great replacement
I stumbled upon this unit while browsing for a replacement pop up tub drain. The old plastic unit has not been working properly for a long time and finally decided it was time to replace it. Wish I would've found this sooner. This is a heavy and very high quality piece. Even came with two different threaded adapters, bot made of brass. The 3/8" adapter fit my tub drain perfectly. Very simple install with nothing more than a flat headed screwdriver to snug up the connection. Rubber seals very tightly. Very pleased with this purchase. Off to buy more to replace my other pop up units!

Flush the toe-tappers down the drain! Get this one.
Was having a lot of problems with the "toe-tapper" kohler stopper which came with my shower / tub assembly. This installed fast and seems to be holding the water in the tub as it's supposed to. Build quality looks good, all metal (copper) inside so it should hold up well. I ordered the satin nickel and the color was good, not a perfect match to koler but very close (i am very picky too) and i think it will blend in after a few uses.
