Great product.

Having purchased my first pair of high quality boots, I wasn't sure how best to care for them. Doing some research pointed me to Bick 4, a product that has a very high reputation for being both effective easy to use. And I must say that it lives up to the hype. The product is incredibly easy to apply and dries quickly without leaving any mess. It does have a bit of a strange smell, which remained on the cloths I used even after washing, but luckily it did not affect the smell of my boots. It also did not darken my boots in the slightest, which is even more impressive considering they are a light orange-colored leather. It also helped clean them well, as there was a decent bit of grime that ended up on the cloth. After use, the leather of my boots was left feeling smooth and the color as vibrant as ever.

Works well, a little pricey

For my oiled leather Birkenstock sandals, cleaning the straps was a pain. Then I found this product which does the job wonderfully

I used this to condition a new pair of Jeffery-West shoes before initially using a polish cream and paste. The results were amazing. The leather became even more supple and it created a great base to work the cream and paste polish onto. Not as aggressive as saddle soap. Just don’t use it on the palm of your motorcycle gloves.

Acheté pour des chaussures marrons. L'intérêt de Bick 4 est de ne pas foncer les chaussures, donc pour ça c'est parfait. Mais par contre, contrairement à d'autres conditionneurs, comme l'huile de vison par exemple, qui elle va foncer la couleur de votre cuir, le Bick 4 ne protège pas aussi bien le cuir. Il faudra donc probablement renouveler plus souvent.

I got this to bring my well-worn Birkenstocks back to life, and it did exactly that. At first, I was a little worried — when you apply it, there’s a bit of temporary discoloration (they looked darker than expected), but don’t panic! Within about a day, they returned to their original color, just with a richer, more polished look. The leather looks restored, softer, and more vibrant. No greasy or sticky residue. No strong smell either — a bonus if you’re sensitive to that. It works without darkening over time and without clogging the leather like some other products. Also tried it on a bag and a wallet — worked perfectly there too. Honestly, if you’ve got leather goods that are looking a bit tired, this will breathe new life into them. Just apply evenly, let it sit, and give it a day — you’ll be impressed.
