Fender Limited Edition 60th Anniversary '58 Jazzmaster 6-String Electric Guitar, 21 Frets, Bolt On "C" Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer, 2-Color Sunburst

Like some Knights Templar on a quest for the Holy Grail, I've been experimenting with guitars, amps, and pedals for years, searching for combinations that reproduce the sounds, shapes, and colors of the many-worlds. This might be one of the most potent weapons I've yet found. I have a J Mascis, had a Professional Jazzmaster, and briefly had an AVRI 65. None of them has the mojo this instrument has. I think the ash has a lot to do with it, that indescribable resonance, but it's hard to explain - it feels "buttery" when I play it, as if there's a viscous field surrounding it. I've mostly run it through a Univibe, a Ravish Sitar, and a Studio Plexi so far, and the dynamics are out of this world..
