Rockport Cobb Hill Women's Patina-CH Flat

I love these shoes. It is not often you get such nice shoes for less than $100. First of all, I have very narrow feet, and it's really hard to find narrow shoes that I like. So thanks for carrying Narrows! I wear an 8 or 8 1/2, and got these in an 8 N, based on reviews. They fit perfectly, even with my very high arches. I usually wear Clarks to work and Skechers elsewhere and these are definitely more comfortable than Clarks, and probably rival the Skechers, except these have more arch support. I bought the tan, which is a nice rich color. I like them so much that I am now going to buy the black ones. I'm using them as my summer shoes. They have more coverage than most sandals, but the cutouts provide ventilation, and make them cool enough. They are very well made with a nice padded leather lining. I wore them for 12 hours today and walked quite a lot on hard concrete, and my feet never complained even once, which is unusual.

These shoes are very well constructed and should be very comfortable, once you have the correct size. I ordered them in my regular size 9W and they were too large, mostly from from the length. The width is what should be expected of a W. So I have to send them back, and since Amazon did not have the 8.5W, I had to order in a different place. My advice is to go half size down.

I was trying to replace a pair of fisherman sandal-style flats. The flats were uncomfortable for all day usage, and once they wore out, I looked for something similar that was more comfortable.These are it. I bought some Cobb Hill sandals last year, did Disney all day on first time use. No blisters. No sore spots. No cramping. That was when Cobb Hill became my "go to" brand, though I move to the ones with soles similar to this design. These uppers are not as padded as others, but for work and all day standing, they worked well.

These shoes fulfilled a need for me---a comfortable summer shoe with reasonably good support (not top notch, but not bad) and covered toes. I wear them for a volunteer position which requires being on my feet and having my toes covered (for safety). They are made by New Balance. They are not quite as supportive as their Aravon shoes, but are also less expensive. I would have preferred white, but the light tan works for me. They also come in a narrow width, which I need. I would recommend them for a casual, comfortable shoe.

I am giving these shoes 4 stars although they probably deserve a 5. They are a wonderful shoe, but I have a problem with a bunion on my left foot and just could not wear these shoes so I am returning them and exchanging for another pair of Cobb Hill sandals. I love the additional toe room and footbeds in Cobb Hll shoes. I have several pair and they are my "go to" shoe brand now.

With any new shoe I always have an issue with the back of my ankle rubbing and creating a blister, or the top of my foot rubbing on the underside of cross-over straps. I usually insert mole skin at these areas. Also, I always insert orthodics, otherwise, the soles of my feet would kill me after several hours or wearing. It would be nice if the inside soles of shoes used suede fabric so your feet wouldn't stick. I like he open area around the toes because when I'm on the beach, I can tip my foot back to allow the sand to exit. The earlier model did a better job of this. Also, I like that most of my upper foot isn't exposed to the sun for sunburn.

I am so happy to get shoes that fit! I think they do run a little large, so I ordered an 8.5 Narrow. My size is between an 8.5 N and 9 N, but these fit perfectly! In the last couple of months, I have had to return 2 pairs of shoes that were too big, so this is so great. Wish stores would carry narrow sizes so that I could try them on, but they do not.

These shoes are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the top strap fits my feet oddly and digs into the top of my feet. I have high arches and insteps. Adjusting the strap didn't help. I wish the strap fit better because the shoes are really quite soft and cushiony, but I will have to send them back.Also, I thought they would be leather, but they are suede.
