Iris & Lily: Book Three

Easy to read..

I miss Iris &Lily! The books were so well written that the girls became part of the reader’s life. You really got to know them personally. The descriptions of places,especially Italy were beautifully written. The third book was depressing in places & I was disappointed that the girls, especially Lily were not stronger & let men control them. Of course if they hadn’t, there would be no story.

I got the 2 books for gift. The first book was also a gift and was a very good read

I enjoyed this saga of a large family that focused on the complicated relationship of two sisters. When I finished the series I felt a sense of loss of the people that I had become very close. I may read this again in the future. Thank you toAngela and Julie for sharing your story.

After reading book one, I had to know what happened, so I purchased book two and three together. I am nearing the end of the third book and I would love to continue to hear the stories of Iris and Lily. One of the best book series I've read in a long time. Although, I was shocked and surprised at how many typos I found throughout all three books. Hard to overlook, but easy to keep going.

I read book 1 and 2. Book 3 was not in the library. Had to see how the story ended. Not disappointed!

I loved book 1, book 2 was hard to read but I wanted to finish the 3 books so I persevered. I’m glad I did. I really like the way the story ended

This series of books is very interesting. Took me a while to get into the first book, but once I did it was very good. Have now finished book two and am ready for the final volume.

I’m a very avid reader of many different genres of books. I had seen Iris and Lily advertised on face book as “the best book you will ever read.” I thought “ok, I’ll have to read it.” I looked for it in the bookstore, no luck. Then I tried Chapters.ca, still no luck. Over the course of the past year, I looked for it in three different countries as I was travelling, still with no luck. I think the fact that I couldn’t find it made me more determined to read it. Finally I went to Amazon.ca where I not only found it, but I learned that it was a series of three books so I ordered all three books.Book One had a slow start and it took me awhile to get into the rhythm of the book. I think this may have been caused by all the “hype” in finding the book.Book Two I enjoyed much more. It moved along and covered many different topics and went in a few surprising directions.Book Three...I wasn’t looking forward to the end of the series because I was enjoying the characters and the story. I found when it came to the end, it just ended. It was a let down for me after the different story lines to have it end the way it did.Did I enjoy the series....yes. The characters were well developed, once I got into the books it had a good flow and the storyline moved along but the ending was flat. A good read but they weren’t the best books I ever read.

Read all three books in the series and enjoyed all of them tremendously.Wish there was a book 4 and 5!
