Dell 911695 Mini DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter Cable

I am very pleased with this Dell Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I have used several as I’m replacing a lot of client laptops and keeping their older external monitors, often with only a VGA input. This is totally a plug-n-play adapter. Just plug it in and it works. Just to test it I tried it on a 24in Dell Ultrasharp monitor which runs native 1920X1200. I had no issues at full resolution; the stated max for this adapter. Just a nice sharp desktop on the monitor. This adapter fills my needs on my Dell Precision laptop and of my clients perfectly. There are lots random brands of these, some less $. I trust the Dell brand and it is seen as a plus for my clients too. To be fair I’m pretty clearly predisposed to like Dell from years using their products. My expectations for this Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter and they were fully met. That’s why I’m giving this 5 stars. It’s well made and does exactly what I want and expected.

After attempting to use different adapters my second monitor is worked instantly with this one 👍🏻 Also someone wrote they don’t know if this was legit dell product. It is because it comes with all dell fine print papers with the adapter. Recommended.

I had a need for these to allow easy connection from a server that had mini-DP connections to be able to adapt to a VGA port to allow connection to my KVM. These suited the bill nicely.

I have been using this for about a month now and it’s worked out perfectly fine. I definitely recommend it for the money.

No matter how hard I try, can’t screw it in. Too late to return…

Happy with this product. I am able to attached this to my laptop and connect VGA connection to my laptop and have the HDI port available for my second monitor.

Worked perfectly on my MS Surface dock...allows for multiple external monitors.

I'm wondering if this is a Dell original part. It skitzes out and makes the screen flicker. It works sometimes.

Je suis prof et vidéo-projette mes cours à chaque séance. J'ai commencé par acheter un câble standard en croyant économiser un peu mais il n'a pas fonctionné sur tous les vidéoprojecteurs que j'utilise. J'ai donc acheté le produit de marque, la même que mon laptop E7450. Il fonctionne certes sur plus d'appareil mais à ma grande surprise pas encore sur tous, en particulier avec un modèle de marque epson. Déçu donc vu le prix du produit. Au final, j'emprunte le câble Microsoft d'un collègue.. pas idéal donc ! Je déconseille l'achat de ce produit.

Klappt tadellos an verschiedenen Projektoren und sieht wertig aus. Die Verarbeitung war auch einwandfrei. Was will man mehr von einem Adapter wie diesem. Ich nutze ihn an meinem Dell Latitude E7440, er funktioniert aber auch mit jedem Notebook das den Anschluss besitzt.
