New Balance Men's 411 V2 Sneaker

I have very wide feet and normally have to suffer until the shoe stretches to fit my feet. These are comfortable immediately and instead of buying shoes 1/2 a size larger I got these as the correct size. By measuring my foot I think I am probably a 6E or even 8E fit, but these fit nicely being only a 4E. To be absolutely perfect I probably need a little extra width for my toes (width wise), but that is really being picky (I just have to wear a this sock) These shoes seem to be well made and are ligtht. They also make me put weight nicely on the outer part of the foot. P.S. Not using for running, but using for fast paced dog walks ( fast walking, a bit of running etc)

I'm only 2 weeks into wearing these and my feet love them. They're light, soft, easily cleaned and so so comfy. I work in a hospital so comfy footwear is a must. One thing I would like to point out is that despite these being mens trainers, I can see no difference in the photo's to those listed as women's (which I am)-except they're cheaper! Also, I always go uo half a size with New Balance as they tend to be smaller. I'd defo buy again!

Was hunting for trainers with Extra Wide / EEEE / 4E width fitting but hardly any brands available of UK brands or UK origins. Previoiuisly had trainers and hiking boots from US sources and my favourite trainer for every day use in urban setting was the NB 624 makr II. When that wore out purchased its replacement, the mark 5 versiojn by this time but had to return due to significant lowering of quality. This was the upper which used to be of a decent leather. The sole which had decent heft to it but flexed sufficiently and gave sufficient bounce for person like me with foot injury. Mark 5 was nothing like the mark 2 thus returned. 12 monthw on, winter 22/23 tried the hunt again for replacement trainer. Found this. Upon receipt understood some other reviews about this model of shoe not lasting long enough. I found the sole to be very light weight. Analogy is like comparing a Cadbury's bar of milk chocolate to that of Aero which is full of bubbles hence light weight and due to less material, wears out quicker. Decided to keep this because it is not easy to find a 4E / extra wide shoe; also Amazon was selling at a good price. At £30 it scores 4 stars but at the asking price of £60 it is over price. The quality is like that of any budget brand found in the high street and at similar price (i.e. 3 stars) but giving 4 stars for the extra width. Suggest if you are buying to go a size up. With Clarks shoes i take 8H, with NB 624 I take 9UK (10 US), but this NB 411 is 9.5 UK but allows me to wear thick socks in winter.

Having such a selection of sizes and widths, plus being available in all black, means these are the most comfortable shoes I think I've ever owned. Out the box they fit perfectly, but I did have to get a size up from what I normally wear. If I had one, albeit very minor, negative it would be the soul/heel is about an inch think and I'd have preferred them with a thinner sole, maybe 1cm thick or something, but anyway these are still excellent shoes, I may buy some more for different activities.

Cheaper type of trainer for work. Son said the inside memory foam comfy but I don’t like the plastic white sole, no rubber so could be slippery outside in wet weather.

These were great, fit really well and are really comfortable. However the soles have worn out really quickly and I no longer have any grip on them so I can't really wear them out in the rain or when it's icy as I just slip. It has been about 6 months of use and this has happened. I'd possibly be a bit more understanding if it had been a year for the price I paid as I have had trainers in the past last 5/6 years but cost twice as much and the soles haven't worn this badly.

A quality, very comfortable, lightweight and great value trainer.

Joy of Joys. The trainers fit MB — even though they were not ordered for him. MB says they are comfortable & light. So much so that he forgot he was wearing them, sat at the PC as he invariably is. These trainers would have got 5★ if they were leather. Thank You, New Balance.
