Great organizer - labels are a bit small
I use my BOX-ALL for SMD component storage. Perfect storage, keeping a lot of little tiny things organized. The challenge is that the labels barely have room for more than 3-4 letters which makes putting the right information on the box where the component is a bit tough. I'll come up with a system, since a bigger box/hole would defeat the purpose. Maybe there should be an index in front/back that you can type more on? EDIT: This is for the 72 slot AideTek organizer. This was the initial organizer I got realizing too late it's not ESD compliant. So I got an organizer that was but now that it's full, I wanted to use the 72 pin for passive components where ESD isn't a big issue. I came to realize that this unit is exactly like the 144 unit except that the top part has no lids - but instead is covered by some nasty static-electricity inducing foam covering them. So if you can print the lids yourself, you can have 144 compartments. For both boxes, I recommend adding an index on the outside and use compartment numbers inside or use a label maker that can print really small. That allows your index to have the "details" of what's in each compartment instead of attempting to put it all on a very very small label.

Almost perfect!
This unit is solid. Little compartments open and close with a satisfying "click" and never leak. The enclosed tweezer is higher quality than the ones they ship with the gray boxes (i.e. it's actually useful for smaller components like 0603 SMD). The only improvement potential is the label adhesive. Across the AideTek line, I find that the labels tend to peel far too easily. Thus, you will have to really press (and repress) labels over time.

Works as advertised.
Good stuff.

If you're serious about keeping a parts stock this is the way to go
I have always kept part in the original antistatic bags. The problem is I've run out space. I've never really found a good way to store the antistatic bags in a way I really like but these boxes let me just keep the parts and toss the bags. The stickers on the lid let you keep a library of what you have with and mark the lid to reference the library. If you a lot of expensive ICs you want to keep safe but would rather not toss these are the way to go. I went from dozens of bins full of bags down to just a few of these boxes. It's been a huge space saver. Worth the money for sure.

Would buy again
A great way to protect and store small static sensitive components. Well made.

Good stuff
Great little boxes for SMD parts! Really convenient for stacking or storing multiple boxes together. They also make a few different variations that make this a good solution for those of us with lots of "junk" bins.

Is what it says-
I tested every compartment for how well it latched closed and found that each one was generally consistent in pop-up/snap-down force needed. With a few exceptions, one compartment seemed exceptionally loose where the snap closed force was almost not enough. The good news is these are made for very small light weight parts to begin with, so it should never be an issue. The one location was marked so as to avoid. I'm an expert electronics technician and can verify as tested, this is the same conductive material used in similar construct ESDS storage containers. I'm excited to have this addition to my inventory management system, to control micro sized surface mount parts. The tweezers were so-so quality, but did come to a fine point. The coating was a plastic dip with inconsistencies in the thickness.

Nice way to organize SMD components
Using to store and organize SMD components is easy with this parts organizer. The lidded compartments are easy to add labels to and lock securely. Really good for storing 0603 package parts. The only gripe I have is that the hinges feel a bit weak and it can be tricky to open as it sticks together, I worry that it will break.

I truly love those boxes. Ideal to store electrical components compact and save. In contrast to other SMD box storages, every lit fits and keeps the parts from dropping out.

Significantly reduced the amount of space required to store surface mount components and removes the problem of the labels from the suppliers fading out over time, leaving you with unknown mystery components. I moved everything to a set of these boxes, this made things much easier to find and significantly tidied up my component storage. These storage boxes work best with a small label printer and a spreadsheet that is laid out the same as the box, so that you can store all the rest of the detail - part name, description, supplier, datasheet link, etc in a couple of adjacent cells and have all the info at hand.

Really nice storage box, very pleased and perfect for my smd components, not cheap but are worth the money, I bought three of them and one anti static version and three standard.
