Padding at the tailbone and both hips cushions hard falls and helps optimize training time by preventing injuries. elastic waist for a comfortable fit.

Good stuff but pricy
This skating pad does a fine job- I fell several times so far and does not hurt a bit. Good for people who cannot afford to break their bones when skating. :-)

It works
It's very protective. I like how lighweight and stretchy it is, easy to put on and take off, but when you fall, the padding definitely protects you from most of the blunt trauma. It gets very very sweaty though. I initially wore it under my leggings but the sweating was so bad that I started wearing it between my leggings and pants - I should have gotten black to match them instead of nude, haha.

OKay!!!
A must if you are doing freestyle in your 40s. Quick delivery. Price is consistent with the market

Overpriced for what it is
Over priced for what it is. Cheap fabric and the pads didn't feel like they went far enough down to protect my tailbone. Returned it and made my own from an old yoga mat (at the suggestion of my ice skating coach).
