Perfect for small projects
This press has been great! If anyone is having issues it’s probably because they don’t know how to use it. The instructions aren’t clear so I went on YouTube to get some help and it works like a charm!

As a new person in the t-shirt making business, the Vevor heat press is definitely the way to go! Easy to use, with quick heat up time and adjustable pressure that makes sizing the transfer super easy. The perfect starter press for any hobbyist! The press is well made and will surely pay for it self!

Great Customer Service
Update: I was able to reach out to the company and after several messages back and forth and not being able to find a fix the company sent me a replacement heat press. They thought maybe I wasn't turning the knob on the back but turning the knob didn't make it any easier to swivel the top. It's not often these days that you find a company that goes above and beyond and stands behind their products. Because of their great customer service and their willingness to resolve the issue I updated my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Unfortunately with any product there will always be some that are defective but this company makes it right and makes sure you are happy. If you have a problem just be patient and give them time to resolve it. Unfortunately I can not give this product a good review. I ordered the 15×15 inch swing away because I had been using a clam shell style heat press for a few years and due to nerve damage in my shoulder I needed something easier to use. Sadly the machine is not easier as theres clearly a defect. It's a serious burn risk in fact because you literally need two hands to swing the top plate to the side and even then it is tight and doesn't swing with ease. I've seen videos of other peoples where the top plate easily swings to the side so there's clearly an issue with my machine. Also the mat itself came with a burn mark on it straight out of the box. I tried to reach customer service and their website wanted me to upload videos. The videos had to be under 30mb so I made a quick video under 30mb and still wasn't able to upload it and got error messages every time I tried which only frustrated me more. At that point I gave up because no one has attempted to reach out to me to help resolve the issue. I live in a 3rd floor apartment and lugging this machine back down 3 flights of stairs to send it back while having nerve damage in my shoulders doesn't make me happy but it seems like that's my only option. I then still have to hope that a new one won't be the same way. I will try to attach a video to show how difficult it is to swing the top plate out of the way. I would highly recommend going with a different machine. I dislike leaving 1 star reviews but people need to be aware of this issue before buying. I was only able to attach the shorter video to this review so I'm hoping people can see what I'm talking about.

VEVOR 2 in 1 Heat Press Machine
I’m writing this just as an informational note, and keep in mind that even if devices come off the same production line, some may work better and be more stable than others. The thermostat on the first unit I bought shows instability at lower temperature levels. For example, when I work at around 270°F, the temperature keeps fluctuating upward between 280°F and 285°F. In a way, that’s actually a good thing, because when I press down, the temperature drops momentarily — at least that’s the case with this device. The press lid is about 2 degrees misaligned. I assume this is common with all manual hand presses of this type. Professional-grade ones don’t have this issue, but given the price difference, a 2-degree tilt is acceptable. Because of the misalignment, the front side (the side you press down on) doesn’t apply as much pressure as the back side, which can be a problem for people like me who work with sensitive materials. But if you’re pressing T-shirts, I don’t think it will be an issue — just increase the pressure. Since my working area is small, I usually place items closer to the back of the press for a more even result, which works fine for me. When adjusting the pressure (loosening or tightening), the painted rear pressure screw started to get scratched and now looks a bit like it has teeth marks. But since it’s made of metal, I don’t think the scratches will worsen — there haven’t been any new or deeper scratches recently. Overall, this is a very good press for the price. The supposedly high-quality automatic heat press I tried before broke just six seconds after plugging it in. I’ve been using this one for 10 days now with no issues so far. Over time — maybe after a year — the thermostat will probably fail, but I think replacing it with a higher-quality thermostat will fix the issue. Taking this device apart and reassembling it is pretty simple anyway.

The heat press is the best
Love it been waiting on it for a few years. I only had a few things that I’ve done with it so far but works great.

Worked at First, Then Completely Died After Only 3 Shirts
I had high hopes for this VEVOR heat press. It arrived on time, heated properly, and I was able to successfully make 3 shirts over two uses. Unfortunately, after less than a month of ownership, the unit suddenly stopped powering on completely. There is no display, no lights, and no response at all. I checked multiple outlets and verified the external fuse, which appears intact. The unit is completely dead. For a machine that is marketed for regular use, failing this quickly is disappointing. I’ve started a warranty claim since it’s still under a month old, but this kind of failure so early raises concerns about quality control and reliability. When it worked, it did a good job, but durability is a major issue. I would recommend this only if you’re comfortable dealing with warranty replacements or potential downtime.

Not sold so far
Just opened up the press to find there are no instructions on how to assemble. I watched the video and managed to get it. I think I received a returned product even though that is not what I purchased. Some items were put together already and all the pieces are greasy and smudged with black. The main press has huge scratches and a small dent. Quality seems to be a bit poor as well, everything is a bit wobbly even though everything is tight. So we will see how this goes 😬

This heat press is great! Some issues with the pen and cap attachments but more likely the operator than the product. Would recommend.
