Great First Battery Mower
First time ever with a battery operated mower. I watched a couple of reviews of different mowers and this model at this price range scored very well so I thought it was worth a try.A little background information I live on a US highway. The state comes and mows the front about once a year, it’s common for me to have snakes around my mailbox, so I felt like I needed something that was easy for an older lady to push next to a highway.ProsThe price is very good for the product. It was easy to get out of the box.It is easy to push and I’m working on a hillIt definitely cuts the grass in a uniform height. There is a quick start guide for how to put it togetherYou don’t need a screwdriver or any a tools to put it together. It’s easy to push it even up a hill.20 minutes charging the battery allowed me to test out the mower on my hill.ConsIt was difficult figuring out how to put it together, even with a quick start guideIt took watching three or four videos on YouTube to figure it out.Two of the cam locks absolutely will not bend and lock in place. However, the bolts are easy to tightenBest practice would have been to have two people here - one to hold the handle and the other one to screw it in, doing it as one person I have now hurt my back. There is really no instruction on how to change the cutting height that took another search through YouTube to find it.It appears very easily to scratch it, but that is not going to have anything to do with it use.I would recommend if you’re going to buy it to have a friend hold the handle while you tighten the bolts rather than doing it alone. I would also recommend that you search YouTube videos so that you can learn how to change the height of the cutting blade.I had read on a review of this mower that the battery charger is loud. It is not incredibly loud. It’s not a scary sound.I think it’s a good mower for the price and a very nice first battery operated mower. I would recommend it for a small yard although it does quite well on a hill. Once you get used to using it, you might move onto something with two batteries in it or something more expensive But for a small yard I think this is a good product.I have not fully charged the battery to see how long it lasts so I may update this review after I have done that.

Love, Love, Love This Greenworks Mower
You won't go wrong buying this battery-powered mower, at least in my case. We bought this Greenworks 25", 60 volt battery-powered mower a couple of months ago when it went on sale at Amazon. It came in a big box, so be prepared. Easy to unbox and put together. This mower is definitely much lighter than a gas-powered mower. Very easy to use. I wasn't sure at first because it performs so differently, but with consistent use, I was able to figure out its quirks and maneuvered it without difficulty. I am 4'11" tall and found that the lower handle adjustment (it has two positions) was perfect for me. I also found that when making a turn, it is better to take it out of self-propelled drive just by releasing the lever. Made it very easy to make a turn without the wheels digging into the lawn. Press the lever again, and you are off and running. I have a number of hills and valleys to maneuver and it performs with no difficulty. You can distinguish when one of the batteries empties by witnessing a slight "surge" noise in the power. I can get about an hour or two out of the two batteries. I love the 25" wide deck, as it cut the cutting time in half compared to the gas one. What I really like is how easy it is to store when I collapse the handle. Before storing it, it is a must that you clean the under-carriage of debris and mud/dirt. I also have the same voltage Greenworks weed wacker (which is also a lightweight gem), so I can interchange batteries. The landscape picture is a third of our property. My husband is particularly enamored because he doesn't have to cut the lawn/moss anymore!

Very pleased
We recently downsized and needed a smaller mower than our big zero-turn. I am glad I decided on this one. The self-propelled feature is great and the speed is highly adjustable. Having it available for getting the mower moving from a standstill or to get up a grade is very helpful. On the flat, it is light enough to push if you wish. The mulching feature with no grass discharge is great. The grass gets chopped very finely because it is forced to remain under the mower. The batteries recharge very quickly; when the first is out, I put it in the charger and continue with the second. By the time the second battery is out, the first is recharged and I can keep mowing without waiting. It is quite powerful but plan on using a lot of battery power if the grass is thick or tall. It is easy to store and it’s cool that you can tip it onto its front end to save space. One of the many benefits of having no liquid in a machine …There is only one improvement I would make. There is a self-propel engagement lever for each hand and either one will move the mower. This is an all-or-nothing, on-or-off proposition. I wish I could operate either side of the mower independently as I could the zero-turn. If you want to mow a curve, you have to push it on your own because both wheels are powered equally and there is no way to slow the wheel traveling the shorter distance.
