The picture is great, it's very clean and crisp with beautiful colors. It's a significant improvement over the composite cables - no more blurry text! You can really see the difference more in person.However, it's obvious how cheaply made these cords are. I am very gentle with my electronics but one of them broke immediately. I slightly pushed the console against the wall trying to obscure the cable (which is quite chonky), and the part that plugs into the PS2 shattered. The casing can be snapped back on, but it can't really be salvaged because the wires just completely came apart.I have the second cable plugged in and it works just fine (for now)... but I feel like I have to be super careful not to push or tug on anything so it doesn't break. Using this product feels like walking on eggshells. I'll have to get a better version when I can afford it. Very disappointing and inconvenient because I have both a PS2 and PS3 and wanted cables for both... I'll just get an HDMI cord for my PS3, I guess, but I shouldn't have to do that.If you need an affordable option these cables will probably work fine, just handle them carefully because they are fragile. Make sure the PS2 output is configured to Y/Pb/Pr, and check that you plug each color in the correct order from top to bottom (i.e. the red connector on top has to go first.) If you get only picture with no sound, or vice versa, the problem is probably that you inserted the connectors in the wrong order.

I bought a new TV recently that had no AV ports but still featured a component input. So, in order to hook up my PlayStation 2, I had to find a component cable made for the PS2. There are many like this, but I took a chance on TraderPlus since its sold in a 2 pack - if one doesn't work, I'll have a spare.I received the cables in no time. These work wonderfully. I get wonderful color depth and no picture errors. I run my PS2 through a Denon receiver and it passes through to HDMI. (No uscpaling turned on)I get GREAT picture. No more fuzzy text. No more smudged colors. Progressive scan works perfectly. I was hesitant because these didn't have an actual review on them. These are great. I'll include some pictures. It's displaying on a 4k TV, for reference.Very happy with these cables.

I bought this looking to put my Nippon Ichi Software games in higher quality, only after it arrived did we find out that Nippon Ichi Software games (La Pucelle, Disgaea, Makai Kingdom) do not translate into composite. The cords worked great for the startup screen, though.
