Shadows: Awakening

This game is fun to play and has a good story so far. The music is great and there is a ton of voice acting which is nice. Overall I recommend if you like Diablo type games. A few things I didn't like. I ended up initially making poor choices using skill points, couldn't get past one of the bosses, and ended up starting over on the easy setting, lol. There is no indication what difficulty level you are playing (even in the save game file) which I thought was kind of weird. Also your save game files just tell you your location and what time you saved it, not your how far into the game you are. I can "maybe" understand if they don't want to tell you % complete, but the save game should at least have the difficulty level and level of your character. The save doesn't clearly tell you who your main puppet (character) is except for t a small icon/picture which is hard to see.

Gameplay: 10/10. Very unique take on the genre Story—meh—7.5/10 since it’s generic, but very much in depth Mechanics 10/10 Dialogue— 9/10 very well voice acted Fun level up and upgrade elements, but he skills are too few, truth be told. The only draw backs are the following: No character customization. You play the set characters the game offers The characters will give some trite one liners when you switch to them, and there is no way to turn them off aside from lowering dialogue volume. I give it an 8/10

The item was great

I wanted to purchase this game for so long because it sounded interesting.... it wasn't. It was very repetitive, clearly translated from some foreign language (poorly) and just not designed well. My biggest gripe were the not so clever puzzles and the fact that enemies do not respawn so collecting XP is somewhat of a challenge. I would not recommend this game for fans of action rpg.

The other reviews are so right,good ole havk and slash game,if you want to just go kill monsters get this, old school fun at its finest
