I have to say this little guy works better than any microdermabrasion mask I have tried.It's even fun to use. It did not hurt, but tingled and a little 'pokey' and it rolled smoothly.Instructions are clear and it said to sanitize with alcohol prior to first use (which I was planning to do, but not sure how & it said to rinse it for a min, then soak head in alcohol for 10 min).Wash face, use this 4 times in each direction, Then I followed up with vitamin E almond oil.It says don't use on eyes or nose. Prior to bedtime I used it mildly on my face (including eyebrows), neck, upper chest, gently on elbows & back of hands. I am 55 years old, Caucasian and my face had a pinkish glow the next morning. It says you may experience redness and skin peeling over the next 4 to 7 days, so plan accordingly. I recommend you don't push hard until you've used it a few times and know how your skin will react. I just laid it on my skin and didn't apply any pressure where my skin was soft, just rolled, and mild to gentle pressure where my skin was tougher or had lines.

I have been looking for a cosmetic needling tool with 0.25mm needle length. I use this at least once a week. Sometimes I forget. The reason I bought this tool was that I use a moisturizing night cream, and it is suggested that using a roller before is ideal for getting better absorption/results. The best part so far is detailed instructions as part of the packaging on how to use the roller. I had read much different advice, and many give the same as the box. I bought the roller in May, and so far, the needles are intact and no rust or any weird thing growing. You might be thinking why would someone want to roll needles on their faces; it should hurt. It does not hurt unless you are pushing the roller on your face. You control the pressure, just be gentle, and make sure you don't overuse it if you are reacting adversely. I recommend this tool if you want to explore the possibilities of better absorption of a moisturizer, serum, etc.

My daughter loved it.. need to read the instructions very well, be knowledgeable, and what you’re doing because it is on your face, and make sure you use oil that is intended for it

Worked fine but wasn't long before i could see rust

This product was supposed to be new from Cosmedica. It arrived in a plastic bag. Not in original packaging. I do not know if it was used and returned. Very disappointed! I requested a replacement. Hopefully with better results. Due to the sanitary requirements of using this device, I am not willing to take a chance. I will update my review with results from replacement.I received the replacement today. I have not used the product yet but the packaging was as it should be in the box which included a hard case sealed in plastic. I am happy with the replacement.

This micro needling roller is easy to use with great results. I used it and applied hyaluronic acid then my nighttime moisturizer and my skin was glowing the next morning!
