Good Touch Up for Vinyl
It's a near perfect color match for Carver yachts. It sprays on nicely and dries quickly. It does not hold up well on seats where people in wet bathing suits sit because it will rub off. When that happens, I spray on some more to protect the older vinyl, prolong its life, and keep it looking good. I usually have two cans available at all times for touch ups because the vinyl seats in my boat are pushing 20 years old.

Good coverage
Great spray for vinyl seats that have wear and discoloration.

Works but not permanently
Very good product. Leaves seats soft and pliable. No rough stiff feeling. Only seems to last a few months though, as it wears quickly causing a redo.

Works great on spray painted vinyl
We used this on our freshly painted vinyl boat sets. First we painted the seats and waited for 24 hours then applied this as a finish coat. It worked well as a top coat which should seal the fresh painting job and help it last longer. We just painted the boat seats a few months ago but then put our boat away so we won't know until next year how well the painted seats will last. We used them a couple of weeks after we painted them and they looked great and didn't chip or crack. So far so great!!

This worked better than I thought it would. My 20+year old cushions look almost new.

Sem carver white vinyl boat seats
The media could not be loaded. So far it looks and came out great! I’ll update as time goes on. I just had some light fading in the seats or deep mold that would not come out with any marine or commercial cleaner that I wanted to clean up. I’m sure it’s not a long term solution but from what I’ve read and seen people are getting 2-4 seasons out of a few coats!

Made my seats look like new
I used this to dye the seats in my ‘98 Sea Ray boat. The seats were prepped using the SEM vinyl scrub soap and vinyl prep (both available from Amazon). I prepped the seat cushions and, once they were completely dry, I applied the coating as directed. The dye adhered great and looks amazing. I HIGHLY recommend doing the application when it is hot, sunny and dry (little to no humidity) outside. Use lint free cloth to clean with the vinyl prep and do not touch with bare hands (oil from skin could cause not to adhere). I sprayed multiple coats and the coverage was great. I used about 12 cans to do all of my seat cushions and they came out great. The dye also restores the pliability and soft feel of the vinyl. Once completed, I allowed the cushions to sit in the sun each day for about a week. Do not store the items you dye with coated surfaced leaning against or touching anything as the dye may adhere and pull off before it is fully cured. It took time and patience, but my seats look great and are holding up great under use. Just remember, your end results may vary if you don’t invest the time and money into properly preparing the substrate.
