How long do the batteries last and how do they turn on/off

The first one that it comes with lasted a few weeks. You can put multiple batteries in them at one time the more you put in the brighter the float! each battery has a led tip that you turn on by pushing it down and turn it off by pulling it up. .170"=diameter of the bulb, .160"=diameter

wIll this fit in a zing cigar lighted float?
