The media could not be loaded. I never wanted to use these but everything else failed. These rats were chewing through the AC duct work and nesting underneath our home. I appreciate the large size of these glue boards. The design is great bc they unfold so you have twice as much space to trap the power. They work much better than I expected with these large size rats. They struggle hard but cannot get away. They're extremely sticky. I didn't notice any odor but I used them outdoors. I placed them and watched them then picked them up as soon as the last was trapped so that we wouldn't accidentally tap any innocent lizards or other creatures.

To be honest, when I saw the product I thought I had lost my money due the glue doesn't look so strong, BUT the result was wonderful, when in a crate I put 4 pieces to cover all the floor and a raw potato as lure, at 9 pm in my garage, 1 hour later I went to check if maybe it had worked, I got surprised when a Rat was grabbed in the glue trying to escape unsuccessfully. So happy with this product. Depending on your catching method, will depend your result....

These catch mice just fine because mice are small. They'll catch a rat apparently if it goes slow or stops on it. I caught two. But I had one rat that got cornered right on top of one of these glue boards, and it literally jumped up and down right off the glue board. And then with my own dismayed eyes I watched another rat run right across one. In both these latter cases, the rats' feet were squarely on the board, yet they were able to pull themselves off.I changed my original two stars to four stars because when I added another glue board to funnel the rat's path across two glue boards, it was enough to trap the rat.So it takes more quantity of these boards than more expensive, stickier traps, but that's fair enough because these boards are much cheaper than others. And that's perhaps why each individual one is larger than the sizes of other brands.

Very effective, especially if you were able to observe where the mice are travelling (wall edge, hole, etc). We've trapped 13 mice now over 2 weeks and haven't caught one in the last 24 hours -- so are optimistic that we got the whole nest.Note: What I especially like is that the trap board is rigid enough to pick up with the mouse still attached. We relocate the mice to a wetlands park about a mile away and release them by carefully pouring cooking oil around them where they are stuck on the board, which breaks down the glue and allows them to break free and scurry off into the tall grass.

It can't catch mice, or rather, it can't catch big mice. We used four of them spliced ​​together, but they didn't catch mice.
