Simple design sturdy enough to do the job
I am pleased with this for hanging files. It was a breeze to put together and it solved a storage problem for me.

Fine product for the price.
I like everything about this product. It is easy to put together and it can serve many different needs. I am using them in my hand crafted filing cabinets, but they are attractive enough that they could be used in a desk top situation.

Legal Folders Don’t Fit!
Sturdy build and good fit in drawer. Letter size hanging files fit neatly, BUT legal size hanging folders are too wide for the frame and don’t fit. So don’t buy if you’re going to use legal folders.

Sturdy and functional but not true to size for fitting into a cabinet
I thought this would fit but it did not so I had to squeeze the bottom two rods to fit into the cabinet, which worked just fine in the end. Other than that, it’s a nice hanging file situation. The rods and metal are sturdy and functional!

Too Narrow for Legal Files
The Legal/Letter Size Hanging Frame is good quality. I purchased it to insert in a letter size filing cabinet in order to use legal size hanging file folders. The frame works great with letter size hanging files. But turning the folders the other direction, to use as a "legal" hanging frame, does not work. The frame is too narrow for legal files. I ordered (1) and thought it was defective. Returned it and ordered another. The second one is the same size as the first. Returning again.Disappointed this file frame didn't work for legal. The description and pictures in the ad show legal size folders in the frame. Not sure what's up. But the (2) I ordered will not work with legal hanging files. The files are Pendaflex, a common brand.

Very sturdy
These are very sturdy and have not sagged or bent under the weight of my files. Fit well in my file drawer.

The amazing, presentable file frame
I had a two-pack of the kind of ubiquitous aluminum file frames that are best kept hidden inside filing cabinets, and out of necessity I had resigned myself to using them exposed. But—simple as they were—one was defective and could not be assembled, so I ordered this different style of frame as a replacement. And what was the most significant difference between these two products?This frame is attractive enough to be used in the open.The steel components have a classic matte black wrought iron finish, and the rough edges of the "who cares, it's going inside a filing cabinet" design of the other example have been rounded off. It's still a little rough looking but in an artistic way, like a wrought iron chair, and solves the no-file-cabinet problem by making a virtue out of necessity. Why would we want to hide this handsome frame? A clever design accommodates both letter or legal size folders, depending on how you hang them.
