Focal: Hadenys open-back headphones - Brown

Sound quality is outstanding. I'm going to quote another reviewer (Robert T) because he perfectly described the sound from these headphones: "The tuning is very balanced with excellent clarity, definition and no sibilance whatsoever. Bass extension and punch is also unusually good for an open back headphone. As they are very efficient, you can drive them with nearly any source." I've tried lots of headphones including Beyer T1, Amiron, Sennheiser HD600, HD650, HD598/9, HD700, Philips X2, X3, Bowers PX7 S2, P9. I think these are probably the best sounding. Of course up in this price range the difference is not huge between them, but if I had to select the one which sounded the best to me it's probably these, although tbf I can't compare them with all of the aforementioned right now. The sound just does not have a flaw, where most others do. Many of the aforementioned seem light on bass unlike these. The P9 sounds very bass heavy and mids are muddied. X2 has a somewhat strange sound signature. HD599 just lower fidelity. In addition, they also sound great with whatever I plug them into, be it the laptop, PC, iPhone or amplifier. I've always had a separate pair for the amplifier and everything else. Build quality is up there with the best, assuming they don't break in any way. To be honest, most are at this price point, but again the others can't quite match the Focal. Perhaps, the Beyer T1/Amiron can, but Sennheisers while reliable and sturdy are not finished as nice as the Hadenys and the PX7 S2 are made of plastic leather, the PX8s fall apart at the headband. The Hadenys feel sturdy and are actually really nice to look at and handle and in a lovely colour. The earpads are super soft and have a luxurious feeling material and the headband actually has real leather on top. Comfort. Again, I just don't have a fault. Like I said, soft ear pads but also the perfect size and shape and the headband gives no trouble either. The clamp is just right. They sit on the head perfectly and are great for hours. They're not the lightest headphones (Sennheiser usually better here I think) but they're not heavy either. One removable cable is my preference because it gets in the way less and I think this is the only set I've had priced higher than the HD599 with one cable. They only really have one downside which is the price. I've always struggled to justify anything more than HD599 as they're so perfect themselves and the prices become multiples of those and I've thought okay they sound slightly better but with xyz downside and a crazy price. Maybe these are higher end ones I will finally keep.

Ich besitze einige Kopfhörer und habe gedacht, man muss mal Kopfhörer ohne Bluetooth, zwecks Audioqualität benutzen Kurz und bündig, man kann heut Musik über das Smartphone hören, in absoluter guter High Res Qualität am besten mit einem kleinen Kopfhörer Verstärker (DAC) . Die besten Kopfhörer auf den Markt für ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im höheren Segment sind ebend Focal und Hifiman.

These are truly a great set from Focal! They are warm, open, and impressively detailed for the price...they are definitely more to my tuning preference vs the Clear MG (the Clear MG is phenomenal, I just dont find them as engaging as the Hadenys, which has a more fun/more mainstream tuning). I am also a fan of the light weight build that feels almost invisible on my head. They also feel well built and hopefully stand the test of time. Fully recommend!

Title is a bit subjective, but I believe this to be one of the best sub $1k headphones period. First, it is built wonderfully. It is very comfortable to wear and is light on my head while also feeling sturdy. It's Focal quality, and from the brand I expect nothing less. Second, and most important, the sound! It is tuned just to my preference; it has a bass that feels accurate without mudding the other frequencies, the mids feel spacious and vocals sound natural and punchy, and the treble sounds sparkly without sound harsh. While I wouldn't mix with these, they are definitely not a neutral headphone being a bit warm, they are an awesome listening headphone and makes music and gaming feel awesome! Would recommend for a friend who would want to enter the hifi world with Focal (especially when it was at $499 when bought, awesome price vs its $699 normal).

La struttura è molto solida, la comodità ad altissimi livelli, i padiglioni non risultano essere particolarmente grandi ma comunque non troppo piccoli da risultare fastidiosi. Materiali di prima scelta ne fanno un oggetto stupendo anche solo a livello di design mantenendo comunque una discreta leggerezza. La riproduzione è leggermente sbilanciata sui bassi quanto basta per rendere il suono caldo e musicale ma senza coprire medie ed alte frequenze comunque riprodotte con ottima precisione SOLO UN AVVISO CHE ESULA DALLA QUALITÀ DEL PRODOTTO: NON ACQUISTARE DA AUDIOZONA (approfondimenti in seguito) _______________ + COSTRUZIONE I padiglioni sono costruiti in maniera eccelsa, la precisione di assemblaggio è indiscutibile, i pad sono confortevoli e la regolazione semplice e solida. Restituiscono dunque una ottima sensazione di durabilità che dovrebbe essere garantita per lunghi anni e forse per lunghi spostamenti dato che viene fornita anche una pratica custodia molto resistente e gradevole. Da non sottovalutare la possibilità di ruotare i padiglioni tanto da poterli appoggiare in posizione completamente orizzontale, utile soprattutto in caso di spostamenti per ridurre al minimo l’ingombro. L’estetica è moderna, quasi futuristica tipica della casa produttrice, può piacere o meno tuttavia la qualità del lavoro resta indiscutibile anche a livello di semplice design. Solo un appunto riguarda le lunghe sessioni di ascolto (due ore o più), nell’ambito delle quali non ci saranno problemi relativi alla leggerezza e comodità ma si potrebbe registrare un lieve riscaldamento dei padiglioni. + PRESTAZIONI Le cuffie sono state testate connesse ad un Lake People G108 ed un Topping A90D alimentati attraverso RME ADI-2 DAC. La riproduzione è molto calda, musicale e leggermente sbilanciata sulle basse frequenze. Le basse risultano quindi leggermente amplificate il tanto che basta per rendere ancora più coinvolgente l’ascolto, non solo della musica ma anche per film e videogiochi. La riproduzione tuttavia resta accurata anche nelle medie ed alte frequenze, non c’è quindi l’effetto “incassato” che talvolta subiscono le voci a causa di un eccessivo e scellerato bilanciamento dei bassi. + ESPERIENZA DI ACQUISTO Per motivazioni varie che esulano dalla qualità del prodotto mi sono ritrovato a effettuare il reso del prodotto, il venditore è stato da subito diffidente (comprendsibile dato i tempi che corrono), tuttavia ha ritenuto di trattenere il 25% del valore del prodotto a causa di pieghe presenti sulla scatola (assolutamente non provocate da me, ma impossibile dimostrarlo), ed un graffietto sul connettore stock (che non ho neppure utilizzato) Il consiglio per acquisti cosI delicati è affidarsi a prodotti venduti e spediti da Amazon e diffidare di venditori terzi che talvolta pur beneficiando della immensa finestra di visibilità fornita da Amazon non ne adottano la medesima politica. + CONCLUSIONI Il dispositivo è valido sotto ogni punto di vista, progettato per essere ammirato, utilizzato con soddisfazione e per durare negli anni. La riproduzione è precisa non affaticante e leggermente calda, tanto quanto basta a rendere più musicale il contenuto. Consigliate soprattutto a chi preferisce un suono più caldo e da abbinare ad un amplificatore analitico e neutro per dare il giusto colore alla riproduzione.
