Good price
Better than the cheaper ones. Works very well and has pulled many dents on my C10 cab project

Good quality product. American made.
Used for professional auto body dent repair. Well made tool. Works as well as an H&S Uni-spotter for less money. Will last a long time.

Great product for the money, USA quality
A nice quality, made in USA stud gun for a reasonable price. I own a restoration shop and so stud guns are something that gets used a bit around here. We've tried cheap systems from discount stores in strip malls that sell foreign made tools and we've tried units costing three times as much coming off of fancy red and black tool trucks. At the end of the day, this system falls solidly in the bottom 25% in terms of price, yet will stand it's ground against even the most expensive in terms of quality. When my employees finish tearing up enough tools that I need to order some more stud guns, these will get my business the next time again.

works great for home use
i got this to pull dents out of my truck that gets bounced off trees regularly. the instructions have a warning about extension cord length and wire gauge. PAY ATTENTION to this. i ended up building an extension cord for this thing and wow what a difference. i still suck at body work but i think that's a failing of mine and not this tool. it comes with a bunch of pins. i haven't even gotten close to using half of them yet. it's heavy and feels well made. i've tried to fix two areas on the truck so far and it worked WAY better than the drill a screw into the fender pullers available at autozone.

Best way to pull dents without holes
I remeber when these systems first came out and the minimum you'd pay was well over $400. If you are looking to do your own body work and a puller is one of your needs then this item is far and above the best way to accomplish those tasks. This is and excellent product and far better than the bottom line units that don't include a good slide hammer either. So don't purchase the bottom line and then buy a slide hammer, by this kit and it will be about the same but you have a much better and longer lasting unit to boot.

Works great, easy to use, great price.
I had looked at this same welder gun on one of the advertiser sites that advertise on custom car shows. Restomotive had the better price, the better slide hammer and 500 pins v 100 pins by the other seller. You can go through a lot of pins quickly. I probably used 20 on a small dent. A pro probably could have used less but I am a perfectionist. This was the first time I've used a Stud Welder but it was simple to use. Actually it was fun to use. Instructions were clear. I'm very happy with the gun and plan to get plenty of use out of it with the two cars I'm working on.

Welded a few draw pins to an exhaust pipe.
When it arrived and I opened the case, many of the draw pins were loose inside due to rough handling. To ensure nothing was wrong with the stud gun, I welded a few pins to an exhaust pipe, and it worked great. I will update this review once I get a chance to do some bodywork, but for now, I am very well pleased.
