Once every 2nd or 3rd batch, a grain of rice will get stuck in one of the holes. I've yet to have one make it's way through. This mesh is an absolute must for steamer cooking. You can pick the rice out of the steamer using it like a bag, which is very nice. It's easily cut to size. Very high quality, should last years give proper care.
