He prefers a thin pillow and those are not easy to find, as many people equate the loft of a pillow with quality. I tested it out myself since he won’t be getting it until the holidays. The pillow was comfortable enough, but it made a crinkly/rustling sound every time I moved. It probably won’t bother him, but I struggle with noises when trying to fall asleep and my white noise machine did not help with the pillow sounds. The shell, which is made in China, is cotton. The filling, which is done in the United States, is described as “a soft gel fiber.”I don’t think those are the source of the noise. It’s more likely the polypropylene lining. I will try putting on a pillow protector and hope that plus a pillowcase will help. To be honest, the fabric content is confusing because the same tag that states that the outer shell is cotton also indicates that there is 100% polyester fibers. Hopefully, he will find it comfortable and the sound will dissipate with time.

Ever since I began using those new pillows that have a center hole in them to accommodate ear piercings, I hadn't been able to use my regular pillow that is rather thick, made or memory foam, and has multiple different curves and shapes within to accommodate side sleeping and back sleeping. I definitely needed something thinner, to be able to use my ear pillow on top of it, but still have plenty of comfort and support, since I highly prefer to sleep on my side. This pillow was absolutely perfect! ✅ EXTRA SOFT: right away, first thing noticed is the softness. i did have to shake the pillow out several times, holding onto different corners to make sure the inner stuffing was distributed even throughout the entire interior of the pillow. afterwards i fluffed the pillow and pressed into it, and even after pressing into the center of it, there is immediate rebound and the pillow almost reverts back to its initial form and thickness immediately. the pillow case is very smooth and soft to the touch, and almost feels cooler against your face than when you put a pillow case over the pillow. it's very easy to fold in half if you want that extra support, and it stays folded in half, just making both halves a lot fluffier and denser than it being laid out flat and horizontal. it really does feel like a luxury hotel pillow. ✅ STAYS COOL: as mentioned, without a pillow case on the pillow, just the bare cotton of the pillow feels very, very, cool to the touch. it does the description justice as being advertised as "cooling" because even after folding it in half and laying on it, immobile, for several hours, i then adjusted, moving my head in a different position and it felt cool against my face, even through the pillow case i had put on it. it truly does remain cool throughout the night, if you're a hot sleeper. ✅ PERFECT THICKNESS: this is advertised as being thin, and it is definitely thin! this pillow would almost serve better as a second pillow, on top of your first, if you're needing extra support, or are laying in a certain position— although it can definitely still be used alone as a single pillow, too. i personally, use it as a secondary pillow beneath my specialized "ear piercing" pillow, and it's the perfect combined thickness with my ear pillow, creating the ideal height and thickness i need to support my neck and head while laying on my side. i genuinely LOVE that. ◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡ 》》》 IN SUMMARY: if you're on the fence and trying to decide in which pillow to get, get this one. you won't regret going with it, because it's so very versatile, and doesn't lack in any areas of comfort, cooling, and support. it's thinness makes it easy to travel with, along with being able to fold in half if need be. it's THE pillow for stacking multiple ones and it does actually stay cool throughout the might. the stuffing feels like down feathers and its reminiscent of luxury hotel pillows. i really couldn't be happier with it. it's worked flawlessly for me and my intended purpose. ♡

I'm a stomach sleeper and this pillow being low loft is great for me. I sleep so much more comfortable than I was. Normal pillows are often too fluffy, so my neck is usually at awkward angles. This pillow borders a bit on being just slightly too flat, but it's got a lot of support surprisingly and my neck is more stable in a more natural position. This is a pretty good value for stomach sleepers to me. My only complaint is the fabric the pillow is made from is slightly noisy, at least to me. It isn't like a plastic or anything, nor does it disturb my sleep, but when I'm initially getting comfortable it is a bit awkward. It's not a major setback, and I'd still recommend this for other stomach sleepers.
