Decent adapter cable (results will vary)
This is a decently made adapter cable for old OBD1 Ford's to newer scan tools. Functionality is going to vary from scanner to scanner, so I won't review that. I will say that I was impressed with everything except one of the ends was a little tight and required pliers to remove. In the pictures I use cords to show the cable mates up properly, because it was easier to photograph. If this is something you could use, it's probably worth looking into whether it will work for your setup.

Worked Perfectly for My Older Ford
I needed this adapter to use my scan tool with an old Ford that has a 7-pin port. It worked just how I wanted. I plugged it into the vehicle, and my OBD2 scanner picked it up right away. There were no problems or odd connection issues. It gave me a simple and clean link, so I could check engine codes and look at engine data as I usually do.The build quality is strong. The connectors fit in tightly and click into place. The cable bends well and does not feel weak. It is not like those cheap adapters you just throw away. I have used it a few times now in different cars, and it still works great. If you have a Ford car that uses the old 7-pin OBD1 port and you want to plug in a new scanner or code reader, you will need this adapter. It is easy to use, does not cost much, and it simply works.

Better than the old way of reading obd1
Didn't know this existed. May not have as many functions as obd2, but sure is nice to have it on a screen
