Excellent quality. I paired it with a Roku and now my kids enjoy long road trips even more.

I drive an older Jeep Wrangler. It's my toy, my passion, and I have tons of accessories in it. Lights, light whips, cameras, and a big audio system. I'm always looking for new toys, and I've wanted to have a dedicated monitor to use rather than a phone, so when I saw this listing I had to try it. It arrived in a nice box, very well-padded, and in near-mint condition. This is a cool little monitor! Installation isn't that difficult, it's just a handful of screws, though running the power and signal wires could be a task depending on your vehicle. With my Jeep it's pretty easy. This monitor has RCA inputs and outputs, which is great since my DSP is RCA in. The monitor plugs right into it. There is an HDMI port on the side so it's very easy to connect your phone for mirroring or to watch a show. The screen itself is crisp and bright, and there are speakers that are exposed when you flip the monitor down. I haven't tested these as I have it piped through the audio system, but it's nice to know there's a backup. Overall I'm very happy with this little monitor. It's much easier to watch shows on this than on a phone screen and gives my passengers new opportunities for entertainment.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We were looking for a drop down screen that wasn’t too big, our deck has video out for multiple sources so we didn’t need anything bulky that would do dvds or anything either. Brightness: It’s decently bright though it can seem washed out in the bright Las Vegas sunny days Picture quality: picture quality is just ok. Resolution is just 720, not very noticeable for its size but not the clearest of pictures Quality: its a little heavier but more plasticy feeling than expect, kind of a weird combination, not super confident it will last getting man handled by the kids.

Purchased two of these, sadly the latch mechanisms on both failed within a couple months. Low quality. Also the chrome (plastic) stickers came off as well, likely from heat in vehicle.
