Works even better than I hoped. Keeps my homemade breads fresh and soft for a whole week! With my bread bags it was already hard on the outside by the next day, but this is perfect. No mold, no hard edges and the size works great for odd shaped loafs.

Not really set up for anything but homemade bread

This container has been perfect for preparing and storing snacks for my toddler. The plastic material is really sturdy and it's super convenient to have the various compartments for all sorts of different food items. The size is just right to slide into the fridge without taking up a ton of space and it's easy to throw into the dishwasher.

It was defective was missing a part on side to keep it closed

First off, I love that it is fully see-through with a basket to easily lift the bread out. It has a vent on it that can be closed to make your bread last longer -- or opened if you are using the container for a different reason -- and it seals tightly.With the basket in place, it isn't quite large enough for home made bread made in a standard 9" pan. You can of course then remove the basket, but that's one more thing to store.I did test it with brownies, storing half on a plate, covered with household film and the other half in the bread box. After a day, you could clearly taste the difference. The bread box cleaned easily and the chocolate smell was gone.I struggled between rating it 4 or 5 stars. But ultimately, not being able to fit your home made bread into the box without removing the basket altogether was the decider. I can fit four regular rolls into the basket with a bit of squeezing. In that way, it's a bit of an unfortunate size, at least for the U.S. market. On the other hand, the quality seems to be quite good.

I started using the Kurznoch Bread Box for our bread loaf instead of wrapping them in plastic wrap, and it’s been such a great change! The bread stays fresh, and everything looks so much more organized on the countertop. It’s easy to reach in and grab the bread whenever we need it, and the airtight seal works perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to keep their bread fresh and their kitchen neat!
