This made a great gift for our 4-year-old. Battery life seems good so far, and everything is still working after six months of play. Good sound quality and light effects.

I got this at a really good price. I like how you can get pieces from the non light up lightsabers, and attach them to this lightsaber with ease. It's very customizable. It's was durable during a trip to disneyland. Ended up getting one for my brother-in-law who absolutely loved it, so it's definitely fun for kids and easy to function. The brightness could be a little brighter, but it works for what we used it for.
