Not for me

Purchased this to help me with a posture problem I have developed in my later years. I was very round shouldered and having a lot of neck and upper back pain. Since using this back brace (reminder) it has helped me stand up straighter and it reminds me to pay attention to my posture. A nice side effect of wearing this brace and other neck exercise, I have managed to reduce a dowager's hump I had to almost gone. My only complaint is the stretchy material the brace is made up has a tendency to roll up from the bottom where if goes around your torso from the bottom, especially if you sit. It you remain standing it doesn't do that. Just be aware. I think if I were leaner and not a bit fluffy, this would not be an issue. Otherwise, the Velcro closure works just fine and you get moderate support from it. This is not an iron maiden, it's more of a reminder to pay attention than it is to absolutely correct your posture. If you want that, then you need a turtle shell (front and back) upper body cast. It does put some tension against the front of your shoulders to remind you to pull your shoulders back and maintain better posture.

Velcro closures connections work well. Sometimes I have difficulty pulling it apart to adjust the shoulder tension. I feel it helps my posture a lot. Just enough tension to remind you to stand tall and push back your shoulders. I machine wash in a garment bag and hang dry

Product size specifications are incorrect. The size I ordered is too large, I attempted to find the contact information for the company to exchange but it was impossible. I'd buy elsewhere with more accurate measurements.

Too small! It said for women and men, i am a man, 5-8, 185, ordered the L/XL. Could use it in XXXL the way they make them.

I was a little skeptical of this product, but it for sure works! My shoulders draw up at the smallest hint of stress, so I needed this to retrain them to stay down. I wore it in the mornings as I got ready (like 20-30 min), and it very quickly gave results! The velcro is strong and sturdy. I should have gotten the smaller size (usually I am a L, so I got the bigger one) but it has still been super helpful!

Though I have bought two of these for me (women S/M) and I love them . . .but it is also advertised for MEN L/XL. I bought one for my dad (not a large man 5'6/179) and it just does not work. It seems to be very snug and not a comfortable wear.
