Accurate. Easy to set up. Easy to read.
I'll start with I love this weather station. I've never had one and this is everything I hoped for.I read the reviews and was prepared for exactly how it works. I have always kept mine plugged in. I've had it for 8+ months. I haven't changed batteries in any of the 3 remote sensors. I need to know the temperature in my mother's bedroom and I love knowing the temp around the house and on my patio. I'm in Arizona and haven't had any problem with the one outdoors in the 115°+heat.Like reviews and the directions say, it will turn itself off once a day. It's usually just a few minutes. Mine is after midnight.I had a difficult time keeping it on Arizona time. I never read directions for that, but I think I finally got it right. The remote temps cycle on the display. You can only see 1 remote temperature at a time along side the room your in. You can set it to show a particular remote sensor or it will cycle constantly, your choice. There are 4 light settings and light off.Worth every penny imo. I've had no problem with distance I'm in 1900sf.

Easy read display
I love the display it is very easy to read. I like the rotating display for the two sensors placed outdoors. We didn’t have a place to hang the sensors outside without them being in the direct sun plus we have vinyl siding on our house. We purchased two square suet cages (used to feed birds) to hold the sensors and hung them in the shelter of our spruce trees without harming the trees. My husband put a piece of metal flashing over the cage to protect it from bird droppings.Added edit for Alaskans: we needed to move the indoor display and unplugged it losing the settings, my husband had set the time manually, we discovered that this unit doesn’t have Alaska’s time zones on it so we don’t have a time zone set. Will let you know how it does in subzero temps later in the winter.

accurate readings, but tricky to set up
I had a prior version of this which died after a few years. I use it to monitor outdoor temp, and the temp in my greenhouse which I have to keep above freezing in the winter. The new one seems slightly more accurate, and most functions work better than the old one. The reason I rated it down one star is because the Chinese company that makes them has (apparently) no one who knows how to write instructions in English, so expect to spend some extra time figuring what they're trying to explain. The oddball controls also take some extra attentions, but if you're persistent enough, you can make it work.

Great replacement for indoor / outdoor temp
This was a great replacement for indoor / outdoor temp. If in battery mode, you must touch the top to see the display. Simple to hook up and get running for info.
